we stumbled yesterday after an adventurous with the dog near this beautiful pub. we were very happy to know that they allowed dogs in the bar area. the service was friendly and eating was amazing. highly recommended, and we will risk it again.

have a afternoon tee with friends. delicious! amazing variety of roasted sandwiches, pork cakes, sweet pastries and scotch eggs followed by a selection of cakes and scenes. hot drinks also exceptional. fantastic staff and a nice little caffe! would definitely recommend!

Absolutely delicious Sunday roast meal recently. Food was superb, staff really excellent and helpful. We went there pre Covid and we are really impressed with the refurbishment by the new owners Stuart and Harry. Was very busy but service was still efficient. Highly recommended but best to book as we did.

Great pub and restaurant. has Good selection of dishes, not just the same old stuff you get everywhere else. UPDATE. Went again yesterday and the restaurant really has changed. It's all been updated with a fresh clean and airy feeling. Food is still top notch. They have the old bar in the back so it can still be a pub if you just want a drink. Great job done by the new owners.

Visited on Saturday lunchtime ..decide to sit inside in the big room rather than the courtyard which was busy in the sunshine.Choose the burger with my daughter choosing the chicken thigh burger. Both were delicious as was the fries they were lovely. Although The Tap n Run is our local we decided this time to go to The Griffin..we weren't disappointed as my daughter hadn't been before.
