Pleasant pub by the canal, certainly nice to sit outside in the warm weather, enjoy a drink and watch the ducks go by.

Very accommodating with pleasant staff. Good choice of ales and served well. Out meals were hot tasty and well presented. Allowed to take our dog in with us.

Came here because of multiple vegan options on the menu. Quick food service, I had the vegan burger and it was really good. Sat and worked on the tables right next to the canal for a while good free WiFi! Recommended for vegans

canal side with lots of spac to moor and just a short walk from the most important thrupp moorings. eating was good, had huh and speckkuchen, in a real case that is always a big bonus. not a big selection of ales, but there are safe beers. Speisekarte ansehen

great food and table service! had a nice time. only at the bottom they can not make cocktails. but eating is really amazing. I had the rumpsteak with stelton sauce and it was cooked to perfection. Waiters/waitresses are polite and friendly. I recommend this place!

Excellent staff great food n drink. They helped me find my missing mobile phone along with a nice guy in a canal barge. Much gratitude all power to them ! Like a really fine Claret this fine pub improves the older it gets by becoming richer more enjoyable. The best things in life are well worth the wait.
