"I’ve been coming to this restaurant now for well over a decade and it’s still my one and only reason for visiting Halifax. The food is always top quality, portions are generous and really good value for money. But more than that is the experience Pajaree herself provides. Always warm and friendly, cares for her customers and never forgets you. Her partner Philip is lovely too and always great to have a catch up with. We had mixed starters, a main each, egg fired rice and a pork omelette all washed down with a lovely bottle of Shiraz and the whole lot cost less than £55. "Great tapas dishes, the staff judged the pace really well. Drinks service was slow. Ambience was really good until a rather large party where seated and the noise levels when up hugely. Great value"

"This restaurant is in beautiful settings overlooking the countryside and feels lovely on a summer evening eating here. I'd heard it was good so had high expectations. The only reason it lost a point was when we arrived the two servers looked at us and ignored us. Luckily another member of staff saw us and helped us. There are a few different eating areas. We opted for the indoor one rather than the outdoor part. I had the mushroom and truffle oil pizza and I honestly think I've not enjoyed a pizza that much since visiting Italy. I could easily eat it every day. I had the tiramisu for dessert and that was nice too. I enjoyed their wine also. I would definitely go again and wouldn't be put off by the cold service we received at first as our lady made up for it afterwards as she was helpful and attentive."

"Must have been stuck in traffic next to this for long enough for Google to think I'd been in for a bite to eat! It was actually over a year ago we visited here, as a group, we were really well looked after and everyone's order was spot on with no issues (there were 18ish of us so that is not always a given). Really nice atmosphere, staff friendly and helpful, available without hovering. I had a Calzone, was cooked perfectly, the filling was nice but found it a little on the bland side overall. Was reasonably well priced if you compare prices to current takeaway restaurant prices where the quality is far inferior. Keep looking for an opportunity to go back."

"Came over to visit family from hull and we decided to go out for lunch and my family picked this local bar and restaurant to have our lunch.. Nice entrance to the bar, which we was met with a warm smile and welcoming. I the lady showed us to the table , there was 7 of us, so she just pushed a table closer so we had lots of room to sit and enjoy our meal, the child got 2 sheets of colouring paper, which he stared to do straight away.. We got given menus and drinks orders were taken. Fabulous warm log fire and beautiful ombré about this place, cosy and impressive all in one place. Once we looked at the menu we made or choice, all picking different kinds of meals and helpful information when asked for details. All the food came within good time, and cooked freshly, hot and full of flavour. Kids meal was of a good size and good price for the quality. Not one of us could fault the delicious food presented to us. The lady serving and looking after us was tentative but not over powering. sorry didn’t get her name) We often come to visit family and would differently call here again, we even might stay in the on site rooms. Car park to the rear and on a summer time you can sit out, which I’m sure just adds to this wonderful experience."
