"I arrived at this restaurant around 1pm on a Friday, after exploring the sights in Avery. We stumbled upon this place accidentally, but decided to come in since we were hungry and on our way to Stonehenge. The pub was busy, with a waiting time of 20 minutes for a party of 4 ahead of us. The crowded pub reassured me that it would be worth the wait. Our table ordered 2 chicken Caesar salads and 2 steak sandwiches. The salad was fresh with crispy bacon and moist chicken, while the steak sandwich was tender and flavorful, served with sautéed mushrooms and onions on focaccia bread. The prices were reasonable, but the service was slow. It took over 30 minutes for the table seated before us to receive their order, which seemed inefficient. Despite the wait, the food was fresh and tasty, and the service was friendly. The decor with Seabiscuit paraphernalia added an interesting touch to the dining experience."

We stumbled upon this restaurant on Father's Day and it was very busy. Luckily, we arrived at the perfect time when a table opened up, as they were turning away other customers. The Sunday lunch menu offers a selection of roast dinners, and we chose the beef which cost just under £9 per person. Despite the crowds, the food came out quickly and was hot and delicious. It was the best roast beef dinner I've had since my Mum's homemade version. Overall, it was a great experience and definitely worth a visit.

"We were visiting Wiltshire on our family trip from London and we were recommended Marlborough for a visit! We came on Tuesday 12th September and it didn’t disappoint! We came across this lovely cafe! The staff were lovely and the food was beautiful! We did wait a little bit for the food but it was worth the wait! All the staff who were a part of our visit were kind and helpful, so thank you very much for that! Hats off to the wonderful chefs who cooked our food! My only suggestion my coffee was a little bit bitter but I don’t know if this was down to barista error or just that I didn’t like the coffee beans so overall a wonderful visit!"

"When we're seated, we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water. I asked for still (wanting tap water) and a bottle arrived. This costs £4.95, but as 12.5% service charge is added £5.57 just for water. Starters were OK, but cheap tomatoes rather than widely available vine tomatoes came with the burrata. I'd had my starter before all the drinks we ordered on arrival had arrived. The battered mackerel was excellent, I am surprised that more restaurants don't serve this. Service was variable, but one young waitress went out of her way to be helpful."

"not many options on the menu, but there are many things that make their own sandwiches and salads etc. with, paprika, (avocado etc. they do now avo on toast (ask for no butter), which with their balsamic dressing is great. the strawberry and mangogelatos are also secretly vegan friendly! and strawberries and mango milk shakes can be made with milk-free milk (almond or soya). dark hot chocolate with almond/soya is also vegan. still waiting for vegan cakes."

"What can I say about Pino’s? We’ve been going for two years and will keep on going- customers for life! The food- freshly made and delicious, the portions generous, the service friendly yet professional and always upbeat, the atmosphere as if you’re in a traditional restaurant in Italy! "I read some impressive reviews of this site before booking. good news are they were all on the square. a little quiet for a Mon night, but the 'Pub-Food' was great. I use the 'pub food' only because the price is what they expect to pay for standard tariff, but what they get here is something a good class above the norm. we had four dishes, 2 of the special card and 2 of the menu, and they were all excellent. the other half of the pub has the fire and a nice cozy sitting area that we did not use in the night, but will be on our return, which hopefully will not be too far away."
