Once again, we were not disappointed. The homemade burgers were beautiful, and the steak was delicious. Additionally, the portions were quite generous.

I recently moved to Newport from Reading and have been to this restaurant twice. The food is excellent, the ales are great, and the service is top-notch. I definitely plan to come more often! Speisekarte ansehen

This is a delightful pub with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and they offer a fantastic selection of cask ales. At the bar, you can find local eggs and honey for sale. The food is also excellent.

Fantastic pub for Sunday lunch. The quality of the food, the size of the portions and the quality are all exemplary. The staff are also charming and incredibly helpful. Finally, being a free house, there are some excellent local beers available. Speisekarte ansehen

Had been told ,was a good place to eat .looked at the menu thought it looked a bit basic and vegetarian. We had 6 different meals. . What a great find . 6 empty plates, 7 satisfied people. Top chef ,excellent staff. Thanks for a lovely meal . Thanks for the candle. Will be back.

We stumbled upon this gem while on our way to a funeral, and it truly lifted our spirits! only wow! everything from the beginning was amazing. my fish and chips were cooked to perfection, and the size of it! chris was more than happy to meet for certain nutritional requirements. the whole food was incredible, the lady who served us all night was amazing, and nothing was much annoyed. we enjoyed the garden while the sun was still outside, perfect for anyone to enjoy whether it is for a drink or eat. we swore in. they love the decoration and the place themselves. will definitely return. very reasonable prices too. thanks for a nice evening.
