The most succulent, well cooked steak I have had in a very long time. I’m very fussy with my steaks and the chef the cooked it to perfection. No photos sorry was to eager to eat,

recommended, so had to go! pub that served until the early evening. the great selection of rounds and real ales. warm and friendly reception we will try again the Seafood Sharing Plate.

last Monday we had a great meal in the red lion. the nice barmaid had picked up that it was my mum 86th birthday and the table had happy birthday banner and a baptism for her to take home. she was absolutely thrilled: thank you. we also have the seafood cellar (again! : it was excellent! many thanks. great food, service and pub.

I order the fish finger sandwich, it was all homemade and fresh. the tartaric acid sauce was amazing and the most beautiful I still had would definitely recommend to all those who are in the opposite, pints are fresh ass. my dining room partner had the crab sandwich, it burst with filling and the accompanying salat left all expectations from the water.

I went to this restaurant for lunch and sat outside. There was live music which enhanced the experience. Although there was a wait for our food, we were informed of this when we placed our order. The seafood platter was delicious and the staff happily refilled our bread and butter at no additional charge. It's a charming pub with friendly staff and delicious food.

beautiful pub, tired in summer, but quieter on the recent visit. personal friendly and professional, know about great variety of around and gins. fabulously generous and tasty portion steak and chips. second steak here in a few weeks and not disappointed. I wish I lived in weymouth, because that was my native. in any case recommend. thanks for fabulous food and service.

Busy traditional pub on a nautical theme with a strong line in rums up a side street on the south side of the waterfront. Massive outside seating area, quite small inside. High quality pub grub on a Saturday night I had to wait about 45 mins) but staff are good at managing flow through and the food was great. Engaging, chatty staff, especially if you want to explore the rums. Good place to go for a bite when on a riverfront pub crawl
