"The food we had was good, the only drawback is that it had nothing to do with the menu available here. We went for dinner and they had grilled sirloin steak and burger. As a main, they also had few courses, such as fish and chips and traditional pub food. Again, nothing like lobster, quail etc as described in the menu here. The food was not bad, but clearly not the fine dining experience we were looking for. I suggest they update their menu here."

Was disappointed there was only the set menu available and not the ala carte this wasn’t made clear on booking. The service was very slow, had to ask for drinks twice and for bread twice that still never came. The food was nice. Although we ordered red wine the white wine glasses weren’t replaced with larger red ones. Overall not a great experience

M Brasserie in Guildford was very quiet during a sunny Sunday lunch. We had the restaurant mostly to ourselves for the duration of our visit. The service was excellent, although there was a slightly awkward moment when we were asked to fill out a form for a 25% discount even though we had already booked online. The food was decent but somewhat lacking in flavor, and we felt that it wasn't worth the full price.
