Really good menu and wine list. Haggis starter was really good as was the ribeye. Fast friendly service even though It was quite busy. would recommend.

Lovely tea food was delicious and good quick service . Near railway station too if required . Went in good recommendations and so glad we did as very very enjoyable

I highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is a fantastic place with comfortable seating, delicious food, and excellent service. A must-visit while in the Dunblane area.

I tried the Scottish breakfast and it was excellent. The coffee was also very good. I had haggis for the first time and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly. I would definitely recommend it.

As soon as we walked in the door, we felt very welcome. All the staff were friendly and very efficient. We had the haggis, scallops, and a calamari special to start, followed by the haddock and chips, lamb rump and mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Speisekarte ansehen

Looking forward to my first visit, on entering place looked luvly and the staff were helpful Sunday roast looked excellent and we both ordered, On presentation the dish looked a good portion however the beef was chewy, the vegetables were definitely Al dente and the Yorkshire pudding was soft and floppy! So the taste was ok but in the end we were disappointed Might give it another try sometime, every place deserves a second chance.

Wow. Simply wow. My wife, daughter (16), and I spent 7 wonderful days in Scotland. Our last couple days were in and around Dunblane. The Riverside is a gem amongst restaurants. The setting beautiful alongside the river. The decor is modern yet somehow tradition. The menu is amazing (my vegetarian wife greatly appreciated the meatless options). The proprietor clearly has a knack for creating positive culinary and entertaining experiences. We saw happy dogs, a 64 year old’s birthday, and young children being allowed to be kids. Mhairi was a wonderful and engaging waitperson. All and all a 10:10.

I have visited this restaurant a few times, but I was very disappointed during my recent visit on Easter Sunday. The service was unwelcoming and abrupt, and we did not feel welcome at all. I wonder if this was because we are not locals. A smile can go a long way in improving the experience. I also felt the manager could be kinder when interacting with their staff. The food was average, especially the Sunday Roast which needs improvement, particularly the frozen potatoes. Making your own would enhance the meal. The risotto with cod was just okay and lacked flavor. The Creme brulee was tasteless and bitter on top, but the Apple tarte tatin was great. I hope the atmosphere and food quality impr...
