Lovely atmosphere. Great staff landlord. Everyone is always attentive friendly! Marquee is an excellent way to accommodate the 'outside ' rule, but also had many a joyous evening up there. Sean the team will always feel welcome

We were warmly welcomed and enjoyed the friendly service at this restaurant. The food was delicious and served in generous portions. Our dog was even given some treats, which was a nice touch. We will definitely be coming back the next time we are in the area.

We stopped by for a drink at this busy pub, and despite the crowded dining area, the staff promptly served us with a smile. We were offered coke and crisps, and we believe the pub has new owners. We were staying at a nearby camp site (30 minute walk away) and had a guest join us for a catch up on the Saturday so we walked to this pub for a relaxing lunch together and it couldn't have been more accommodating. Considering the restrictions from Covid-19, they organised everything really well and we just enjoyed their lovely food whilst we enjoyed the picturesque village pub. It was well worth the walk.

We came to try out the roast dinner! Big portions happy to cook the beef for longer as we don’t like it pink, no fat on the meat as requested. We are very fussy eaters so we’re so happy to have our food served as we wanted it. My son enjoyed the pool table. Very friendly staff with a smile on their faces which makes a big difference felt very welcome. The puddings were also really yummy and homemade. We will be back.

Barcombe is a sweet village to visit at the best of times and the Royal Oak is the heart of it. Since the pub was taken over by Sean, it 's getting better every day. The food and service is excellent and personal. Since my first visit I 've been known by name. We love what Sean has done to improve the place. The garden is now reopening and the front benches are always busy now. This has now become our firm local favourite and is rapidly becoming the 'local ' for the wider area. The food is really good and if you fancy artisan pizza, Thai or something a little different they play host to guest kitchens and street food on a Monday and Tuesday. Not sure where the bad review of the landlord come... Speisekarte ansehen
