The beer here is excellent, and if you can catch the friendly bar manager for a moment, you're in for a good time. He's a great guy, always on the go and full of energy!

Stumbled upon the Royal Oak by luck, and glad i did, i had a lovely beef roast, it was the best roast i have had in a long time, the staff were very friendly and polite, the pub had a very warm and friendly atmosphere, i left completely full, and its very reasonably priced, i highly recommend the Royal Oak if your in the area. I visited today with my sister and our kids for Mother's Day. The food was delightful; we had the Sunday roast, and the portion sizes were generous. The children's portions were excellent as well. The beef was tender, the turkey was delicious, and the pork with crackling was fantastic. I appreciated that we had a gravy boat, as I really dislike when restaurants skip this—especially since we love gravy! Our waitress, Janet, was incredibly helpful and made sure we were well taken care of. Despite the restaurant being busy, she was very attentive to all the tables. We will definitely come again!
