"Great family evening at the six bells. Hosting was excellent and the food came pretty quick and most altogether considering there was 18 of us in total. The food tasted good and the portions were relatively filling having a starter and a main course meal. The pub was winter cosy with a live fire and well staffed, who were quick to offer help and serve us for drinks at the bar. Great mixture of ages too and prices of food and drinks are reasonable."

Stopped of on our travels for lunch. Good food menu and choice of real ales. Proper old pub vibe. Clean and food was good.

we have stopped here on the way to and from vacation for many years, the staff are always welcoming and friendly and eating amazing, it is a tradition that we hold for many years. very recommended for good eating and friendly atmosphere. Speisekarte ansehen

It's a lovely old pub in a good spot. Easy to find and lots of dining space. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good pub food but not exceptional which considering the cost is a little disappointing. It was £20 a head for burger and drinks. If I was paying this in London I would have had a better quality meal. However would not be put off coming again if I needed to eat in the area.

Absolutely terrible! We came with family for a birthday lunch. No roast dinners available on Sunday, no fish for fish chips, only 1 steak available. We ordered potato skins they served whipped cream (as in dessert whipped cream) rather than soured cream! Pizza arrived and it was budget doughy base and tops with cheddar. Staff were terrible complete waste of money, time and we will never be returning! Avoid!!!
