The Stables - Speisekarte

It's the first time I've been here but will be going again. The waiter was really friendly and efficient and the food was lovely.

Absolutely fabulous evening spent in a lovely restaurant, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, well presented and hot. Looking forward to going back again very soon.

this restaurant is fantastic, simply brings beautiful memories back to my time in crypts. eating is excellent and fresh is also service good. very accommodating and a pleasure to visit. wonderful to talk to the cook. we'll go back. if you are after...big eating and ambiente I recommend this restaurant. an absolutely beautiful place to eat. a beautiful traditional place with delicious, authentic Cypriot, Greek and English foods. everything is freshly cooked and the chef /owner always comes out to check that everything is in order. a relaxed atmosphere that is not expected. fast food, just make one night of it.

Again, a lovely meal and swift service. Our waitress was cheerful, polite and helpful. Our meals were lovely and tasty. I had the calamari to start and I wasn’t disappointed, well worth the near 200 mile drive up here from Clacton, though I didn’t just...come up for a meal lol I came see family. Visited Stables several times now and I have never been disappointed or left wanting nor have my family

Must say this meal was the worst I have had in a long long time overpriced and when we asked to speak with the chef/manager he was very aggressive took one of the meals off the bill but really didn’t want to pay for any...of it it was vile frozen fish on the meze the only good part of the meal was the bread He then started then to blame to two young girls who really didn’t have a clue but not their fault just left to get on with it Avoid at all cost Speisekarte ansehen

family dinner birthday. beautiful “rustic” environment and eating was excellent. kellner was very attentive and accommodating and the chef came out to entertain us. a beautiful experience. some of the meals must be preordered (we had booked on the day) and. we had difficulty deciding how it all sounds fabulous, so we will definitely try other options soon. we don't live far away, but this was our first visit and we are very happy to have found this little gem. I hope to return very soon.

we arrived and were asked to sit in a veranda leading to the restaurant. A young waitress took our drinks order, but also our starters and wine which seemed a bit strange. Our drinks arrived G&T and a beer), accompanied by the wine and...2 glasses ... after 5 minutes, the young lady took us to our table, I was surprised to see that only two other tables were occupied on a Saturday night at 8pm. It took less than 10 minutes for the cold to hit me, I then looked across only to see that two out of three occupants on the table next to us were eating with their coats on, and the lady sat behind me was also wrapped up trying to stay warm. Strangely, the radiators were on but the room was FREEZING....

I like to write good reviews and celebrate good food. I'm afraid our experience of this place did not live up to expectations. We chose The Stables based on Tripadvisor reviews and because we like Greek food. Our reservation was mid-week for 20:00. We arrived...at the restaurant a few minutes earlier and were asked to wait in the waiting area. The reception girl brought us menus, which we saw as a good sign hoping that the service will be quick. We made our food and drinks order. The restaurant has Cypriot wines on the menu. I am currently off alcohol so I asked for a ginger beer, not available. OK, any zero alcohol beer or wine. Not available. OK, I will drink sparkling mineral water. Not a... Speisekarte ansehen
