Me and my partner visited on Valentine’s Day and had a lovely experience. A complimentary prosecco and peroni on arrival and a rose at the table. Both mains were excellent and really good portions. The chef came out and spoke to people in the restaurant which was a lovely and personal touch. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back soon! Service: Dine in

I have attempted to call the restaurant approximately 15 times over the past few days in order to make a reservation for myself and my partner. Unfortunately, no one answered the phone during any of my attempted calls. It is too difficult for us to drive to the restaurant without a reservation. Had a lovely evening just us two. Food was amazing, recommend the meat meze. Delicious piping hot, and a great chat with Chris the owner/chef. Going back soon. Very highly recommended. Five star. Starting off, our group consisted of individuals of different ages, with some opting to pre-order their meals while others chose from the menu. The food was merely average considering the prices. Several guests had to send their dishes back due to being too dry. Furthermore, they had run out of beer and wine. The service was subpar, with long waits for food that arrived at staggered intervals. We constantly had to remind the staff about our orders, wine, and next courses. It almost felt like we were in an episode of "Fawlty Towers," leading us to simply laugh at the absurdity of it all. We arrived at 6:30 and didn't leave until after 10 pm, even though there were only six other customers in...

So we booked a table for 7:30 arrived just before our booking time stood.......stood........stood.......stood........ STOOD! well we stood without anyone attending us for over ten minutes not even being able to be seated with other couples waiting and tutting behind us! We waited sooooo very long I decided to write them a little note before leaving! So I grabbed a pen and order sheet from there bar and wrote..... Good evening I have now waited here over ten minutes nobody has come to serve me or seat me so now I have GONE! in the end myself and my wife simply went a few more miles up the road to THE SHIRES! it's a fantastic place to eat the service at the shires is brilliant!
