"I want to provide some feedback in this review. The pub is located in a beautiful area and there are many tourist signs that direct you to it. The pub has a lot of potential and it is clear that the new owner is enthusiastic. He was very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, we were the only customers on a Sunday afternoon. We were looking forward to a traditional Sunday roast, but were disappointed to learn that it is only served occasionally. The menu seemed fine for a pub and promised homemade dishes. I won't go into detail about the food, but it did not meet our expectations. I wish the new owners the best of luck and I truly hope they can make the business a success."

A walker’s paradise popped in for lunch during a long walk. Big gin selection, some good stuff on cask and sandwiches for lunch. Really long chat with one of the owners, Dave, who made us feel really welcome. Would recommend!

brilliant place pub. not always open or always eating, but it is worth finding out. we went for a nice eating one night (recommended reservation) and to hear an excellent band another. everyone was so inviting. absolutely no hesitation in the recommendation.

We had a fantastic experience at this warm and inviting pub. The food was delicious, and they had a great selection of local ales. The owner, Phil, made us feel right at home and took great care of us. I loved sitting by the fireplace and warming up. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
