Lovely place to eat. Food hot, tasty and plenty of it. Staff friendly and welcoming. Will definitely call again.

Popped in for a drink and couldn’t resist the midweek special, stew, mash in Yorkshire pudding at a great price, along with the ever delicious homemade steak pie and proper chips, lovely friendly staff

You need to try the specials at the white Hart....the salmon cod dishes are excellent. Delicious cooked to perfection...the menu is always great but so good to have the specials on too....Great price ample portions.

I dined at this restaurant for the first time last night and I thoroughly enjoyed the food. The beef pie was delicious and the Spinach & Ricotta Cannelloni was also very tasty. The atmosphere was pleasant and the servers were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning soon. Thank you for a wonderful evening with our friends Les and Eileen Maltby.

Sunday lunch today was perfect....cooked to perfection...the beef we had is so tasty ample serving too. The mash potato is so creamy vegetables just right...with the added bonus of cheese sauce....is perfect. Our sons had the steak pie said its still the best in Doncaster. Always a pleasure...the staff are always very welcoming nothing is too much trouble....Sundays with the family a great meal is spot on..Thank-you

My partner and i came here for Sunday Lunch yesterday 08.09.23 and both had the Chicken Sunday roast. All the food came piping hot and was very tasty. Table was ready on time and we were served by friendly and efficient staff who were very welcoming . Would highly recommend a visit here as we have been here on a previous occasion and also eaten from the full menu which was also very good. Thanks again to all the girls who served us and a special shout out to the chef.

We found this pub quite by accident, on a long, long, journey from the Golden Valley on the Welsh Marches, to Thirsk. It was busy, friendly, with extremely welcoming and efficient staff. The food is home-made and freshly cooked, using excellent ingredients too. I have rarely had a better Sirloin steak, the chunky chips were superb, the onion rings to die for. My husband said his steak pie (and he's a bit of a conoisseur of steak pies) was the best he has ever had. It is obviously a very popular local, with families, children and dogs. Sometimes such places don't really welcome blow-ins, but we were made to feel very welcome indeed. If we are going north again, we would actually make a detour...

We were driving to take pictures at Wadworth Church when we passed by this restaurant on a warm October day. Since it was almost lunch time, we decided to give it a try. Sue warmly welcomed us, especially accommodating our group members on crutches. She handed us menus, explained the ordering process, and took our drink orders. We enjoyed the shared starter, particularly the spicy chicken wings. For the main course, our friend had the Ultimate Burger, my wife had the Pan Fried Liver, and I had the Homemade Steak Pie. We visited the White Hart a couple of years ago and found it to be quite average. However, on our recent visit, we were pleasantly surprised to discover that it is far from average - it is actually very good. As soon as we walked in, we could tell that there was a completely different atmosphere compared to our last visit, with a lively buzz in the dining room. Our party of four each ordered a different main course and no one had any complaints. I opted for the special, which was quiche served with chips and salad, and was very satisfied.
