"This place beats many of the top named restaurants you might find in London but this is rural coastal Norfolk on a Tuesday night.An easy going small friendly family run restaurant with great staff, brilliant menu decent priced wine list. This was one of the most memorable meals out in recent years from the bubbly beginning to the chocolate treats that came with coffee and inbetween were the Michelin star main courses.Ok the bill reflects the quality of the cooking and ingredients but for a special meal out The Neptune will take some beating."

"We went to the Terrace for Sunday lunch in October 2023. Food was outstanding as well as a service, they have live music on, which was absolutely brilliant. Would recommend the terrace to anyone. Lee and Mo. Parking: Most of the time you can park outside, it’s not a problem Kid-friendliness: As you can take your own drinks in there, it’s just great to enjoy a meal and a glass of wine and relax without the hassle of a bar phone suitable for children"

"This is a charming seaside café. The prices are reasonable, and the establishment is very clean. While the service was a bit slow, it’s understandable given how busy they were, which is actually a positive sign! At one point, every table was occupied. They offer a wide variety of food, and the staff is incredibly friendly. However, wheelchair accessibility is limited due to the design of the building. Overall, I enjoyed my lunch experience there!"

"had my first erics experience today and it wasn't without doubt the best cadjau, chips and mudy heaps I've ever had! all from the crispy beer bestreut cadjau, crispy bark dripping fluffy chips and a crispy mudy heaps! I managed to steal a bit of my fiancated fishcake and curry sauce, which was also excellent! I will definitely be back and recommend to all my family and friends! Happy New Year x"

"Up in Norfolk for a few days and looking to enjoy the wonderful area and hospitality. This Restaurant/Pub is definitely WELL worth swerving around. It’s so apparent in its attitude of the customer being a bother and it stands out how they make you feel that way from the minute you enter the pub. Just went there for a drink to start with, then thought we might have a quick bite to eat. I asked the rather ‘ unapproachable Landlord’ if we could eat, it was before 2 00pm do you have any mussels yeah, how are they served, mariniere ? After a grunt, said we serve with white wine and cream, ok fine. A little strange, we were perched on a table in the middle of a very busy bar, my wife and I stood up with a view to going into the restaurant, a lot calmer and better place with a lot of space to have a calm and relaxed atmosphere he looked at me strangely, I said let’s go into the restaurant, is that alright? in a very irritated way said, if you really want to ! Long story short, if you want to be made to feel a nuisance and causing a problem go here. We are away to have a chill time and not interested in having issues over a lunch, just a bit of time to enjoy, a lot of places up in this area seem to believe that the customer is a real pain but somehow has to be contended with. I’m Surrey where we live, the hospitality business has had such a difficult few years, they have a very welcoming and pleased to see you attitude. I just don’t think that this sort of establishment helps the customer or their trade. Hope that helps someone."
