"I would have rated this restaurant a 3.5 because I feel a 4 is a bit generous. We arrived shortly after they opened and requested to wait before ordering as the restaurant was not very busy, but we were told we had to order right away. Despite expecting to spend a few hours enjoying our Sunday roast, our tables were cleared and we were presented with the bill within 40 minutes. It felt rushed and lacked the relaxing atmosphere we had hoped for. However, the view outside was still great and the roast itself was delicious."

I was lucky enough to see a Tweet from the owner and head chef offering a deal that was so good, I drove for 4 hours to see if it was a good as it looked.

There's nothing to fault about this establishment. The food was exceptional, the staff were attentive, and the atmosphere was beautiful. What stood out to me was the vast selection of delicious gluten-free dishes and desserts.

The White Post frequently hosts themed evenings, and we recently attended the American-themed evening featuring four separate courses. Even a simple dish like pulled pork mac and cheese was expertly prepared, with the pork slow-cooked for 24 hours. It may sound like a cliché, but you could truly taste the difference with each delicious bite. We highly recommend the fantastic food, excellent service, and lovely atmosphere at The White Post.
