Came here for a Mother’s Day dinner. Vegetarians and gluten free catered for well. Lovely place, tasty food and great staff! Very positive experience. Highly recommend.

The scampi was mostly breadcrumbs with very little filling. It sounded like they were reheating it in the microwave, and nothing tasted freshly prepared. I won't be returning to this restaurant.

Surf Tuff with sweet potato fry’s profiteroles for dessert. Service was prompt effective. Meal was excellent, steak, tiger pawns all done to personnel preference desert hit the spot. A very welcoming environment and the cost was very reasonable

Came here with family for dinner, first time. Funny smell when coming in, almost a dusty smell. Overall it was like sitting having dinners at school. Didn’t enjoy the food. Staff where all friendly and service was great. Such a disappointment, as the location is beautiful.

Excellent choice of roast meats, generous portions and proper roast potatoes and fresh vegetables make this an outstanding meal and an excellent choice for a Sunday carvery. Furthermore, the extensive a la carte menu would suit all tastes and families and all at very good prices.

Me and my family went for Sunday carvery, a large group with various dietary requirements. I cannot fault anything. Everyone loved the food, especially the lamb. The waiting staff were rushed off their feet, yet still managed to attend to everyone's needs quickly. All staff were very welcoming and nothing was a hassle and the price was extremely reasonable. Will definitely return even if it is just to look at the magnificent view from the restaurant.

Meals I’ve eaten here since my last review have included the following: a Goats’ Cheese Bon-Bons with Salad, Beetroot Puree Plum Jam starter, for £3. My main course was Sticky Honey Chilli Chicken served with Rice Naan. £11. Loved it. Great meal. The next time I had a great big stacked-up burger. See photo. Onion ring, bacon, a big boar of sauce. Another great meal. The bill for two people dining was just £21. I like the service here. I like the seating area, its very spacious. Spectacular view. Loads of free parking outside.

our second visit to Whitehead Golf Club today and had to write a review to say i really appreciate nice friendly staff and this beautiful golf club restaurant is tops for customer care . Now the best part , the food is delicious. First visit we had surf and turf it was perfect. Today we went for the sunday carvery , a really great selection of meat and vegetables and all the works . Dessert was a Turkish Delight Cheesecake, yummy . Definitely a big favourite now and so very reasonably priced Thanks to the boss man Alan and beautiful wife Pauline

I tried a lamb special at this restaurant, which is not typically on their menu. I find that their specials are consistently delicious, so even though there are many options I enjoy on their extensive menu, I often opt for the special instead. The lamb dinner I had was fantastic. My dining companion had the steak and thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was attentive and the dining area was spacious. The views of the valley were spectacular. There is a full bar in a large lounge area where many guests choose to relax on couches and have a drink while waiting for their orders.
