"Food and service were very good, we all enjoyed our meal. 5 people, 5 meals and 5 drinks for under £25! Visited 8/3/2019 again 5 of us. Staff were friendly and helpful however I must say food was disappointing, I sent my chicken Kiev back was so over cooked I struggled to cut it . Staff was apologetic and offered me a free coffee. When I received my food the second time everyone else had finished eating : unfortunately we didn't enjoy our food so it's unlikely we will be returning anytime soon : Early chrismas dinner ... 15 November , our Friday group booked for Xmas lunch 6 in total we all dined on 3 courses and finished with mince pie and coffee. Costing £10.99 per head ! Amazing value. We had 5 prawn cocktail and 1 tomato and basil soup. 6 Turkey dinner. 2 Xmas pud, 2 cheese and biscuits 1 cookie profiteroles and 1 plum and Apple pie then coffee and mince pies, everybody enjoyed the food the portions were ample and we all left stuffed ! The table was set lovely ready for our arrival crackers and Christmas hats, staff very friendly and helpful and table service was provided with drinks. CHRISTMAS LUNCH FOR FIVE .... 8 DEC 2021 We were met with a warm welcome from Samantha and Michelle and well looked after through our whole meal at Yates. The table looked lovely. The food was fresh, hot and plentiful and the atmosphere was good. A big thank you to Samantha and Michelle : Merry Christmas Ladies."

I have visited this restaurant about 10 times and have never witnessed any problems or fights. The drinks are affordable and there are three different floors with music, including chart-topping hits.

Came with my daughter for food and had an amazing day with her , food was spot on , the staff was really nice and polite, food was hot and steamy and came down pretty quick , so overall definitely come again

Not been in to Yates for a while, but I was so glad that I went in. I got to see one of my old friends back behind the bar, Samantha, or Boo as she is known. So glad to have her back home. Will be coming back more often.

had a great time on Wednesday when we visited yates. Eating was excellent. good as ever. excellent service by michelle as always. nothing is too much annoying. love the fact that I can have a whisper, even if I'm milk free because they have vegan glooms.

This pub is a definite role model as to how modern pubs should operate! Food wise there is a wide range of options. The staff couldn't have been any better, accommodating, friendly and helpful, especially the purple-haired one, Logan?! Would return again without hesitation, definitely.

Fantastic place to go, before going to the theater to see 10CC. Martin Kurtis, went out of their way for our group of six, as we arrived late due to traffic. Our food was served promptly, still giving us time to get to the theatre, due to our lateness. The food was Very good indeed, enjoyed by all. Thank you guys.

came for a little lunch with my family. When we came to me, we greeted ourselves when we sat at the table. when I went to the time to order the food to order mellow was very helpful with my food order and was beautiful. the eating was amazing and the money worth. will definitely come back after the service and the eating I had today.

I have to say this is one of the best experiences I had in one because to start using the app to order drinks, the bar staff then advise, we could get another cocktail within the 241 deal and gave us the other. we then ordered to eat that made me sickle all the time we stayed here, she was happy and smiling and offered to all those who asked for advice. she made our experience amazing.
