Thank you Andiamo for a lovely lunch for our group today, good service ,wonderful hospitality and great food. You gave many elderly folk in Milngavie another special day. Thank you.

This is the best experience Italian experience we ever had in Glasgow! We have been served by Hannah, who was lovely and very attentive. Amazing decor and fab atmosphere. We will definitely be back again! J&A

We went for a family celebration and was unfortunately let down by service. Food is ok, though nothing special, but their service is really lacking. Long wait times and lack of attentiveness to customers. Some staff walk around emotionless and like zombies. Not good value for money. The New Year's Eve food at this restaurant was absolutely terrible - no vegetables or condiments on the table and it cost £75 per person. I would recommend avoiding this place at all costs. The DJ was very disappointing as well, barely interacting with guests and playing downloaded music. To top it off, there was someone smoking a vape inside, which was disgraceful.

There was a good selection of mains, we didn’t order starters, just as well as the portion sizes were large. The mains arrived in a timely fashion. 3 of us ordered the after eight dessert, but they were out of after eights which was disappointing. My husband ordered a coffee to come with the dessert and it never came, the desserts took a while too. Overall however the meal was delicious, apparently Alan made my risotto, well done Alan it was lush. Everyone enjoyed their meals if you hadn’t have run out of after eights and forgot the coffee I would have given 5 stars (and a bigger tip) still a solid will come again

I know there is a cost of living crisis but for 02 January evening the restaurant was the quietest we have seen. Have been coming for over twenty years and even the staff looked new change of management ? Talking of staff the service was very poor I left no tip. The waitress made it plain she would rather be elsewhere and needs training that service with a smile however false enhances the customer experience. In terms of the food and drinks no Rose wine was available, no sticky toffee pudding, and the gluten free toast was so poor compared to previous visits it looked like standard defrosted supermarket GF bread with a piece of cheese placed on top. My family and I went to this restaurant for a meal, and the food was amazing - great portions, fresh, hot, and extremely tasty. However, the staff were terrible. None of them smiled, they were sullen, and they avoided making eye contact at all costs. It took us a long time to even get someone's attention to order drinks. One blonde female server even managed to take our drink order without saying a word or making eye contact. When we said goodbye on the way out, she just gave us a look and kept walking. She was the worst, but the other staff members were similar, although they managed to speak or nod occasionally. Something must be wrong for all of the staff we encountered to be so distant....

This was our second visit to the restaurant. We had a great experience the first time, so we decided to return. Our group of 4 went for lunch and were entertained by the servers, who were all dressed in Halloween costumes. Although the restaurant is spacious, only about 10-12 tables were occupied during our visit. The service started off a bit slow and eventually became non-existent. After finishing our main courses and realizing no server had checked on us in over 20 minutes, we decided to skip dessert and asked for the bill. Last Wednesday my son took me, my wife, his partner and his 2 young children for an early dinner at Andiamo. I ordered Lasagna. When it arrived, I found it served very hot in the dish (as they usually are in restaurants but the mozzarella topping was so stringy that I found it almost impossible to separate and difficult to eat. The centre of the dish was solid lumps of pasta (which I left with the only meat evident round the edges and that didn't taste very good. On reflection, I should have returned the dish but instead I left most of it rather than cause a fuss. The journey home involves a drive of an hour and a half.
