"For all the hype and the online recommendations......what? Arrogant (turned away at lunch (questioned challenged our dinner reservation made by our inn keeper and arrived to a completely empty dining room (soon learned why . Had such high hopes considering the meager offerings in town that we were able to research on our first day. Avocado “salad” is basically Mexican guac chips (less some much needed acidity.... and the lobster rice? What a disaster. The lobster was basically a shell tossed up on the beach after another sea creature had already taken their turn at eating it. Went so far as to bring the poor young server in from the bar that spoke the most English to hear our concerns, THEN DID ZERO about it. Run don’t walk, do whatever you can to go elsewhere."

Sitio muy exquisito tanto en el trato, ambiente y comida. Relación calidad precio medio- alta. Es cocina de primera calidad. Salimos por 87 €. Un centro, bacalao y cochinillo, dos Copas de vino, agua y postre más cafes Pero la ocasión lo merecía.

We ate under the **** they have on the terrace. a food value for the money of 10. impeccable service, despite being full. a wide variety of dishes and a chochinillo that has nothing to send to any of the best restaurants in the area certainly a magical place, full of good energy and professional and dedicated staff to the customers. Estubimos comiendo en el Restaurante Arrope este verano con la familia. Comimos debajo de la parra que tienen en la terraza. Una comida relación calidad-precio de 10. Servicio impecable, pese a estar llenisimo. Gran variedad de platos y un cochinillo que no tiene nada que enviadiar a cualquiera de los mejores restaurantes de la zona. Sin duda un lugar mágico, lleno de buena energía y personal profesional y dedicado a sus clientes.

Restaurante elegante con amplia terra za exterior donde comimos con nues tra perrita.Situado junto al hotel del mismo nombre.Cocina de calidad con buen producto y gran cocinado a pre cio más que correcto.Recomendables el cochinillo y la pierna de cabrito así colo la entrada de alcachofas.Perso nal atento y servicial,lastima que se ol vidaran de nosotros con los postres y sintiéndolo mucho no le pongo la última estrella porque mi mujer duran te un buen rato pasó frío innecesario.

"After 2 weeks in Spain and way too much meat, we started craving ethnic food and looked up reviews on TA to find Siglo de Oro, slightly concerned at how few reviews this restaurant we decided to try it out anyway. We arrived at 1:30 pm and there was one table occupied (usually a concern), but ordered spring rolls and a soup as we felt these 2 dishes would be safe and determine the overall quality of the restaurant. The Spring roll was larger in size than we have at home and was quite greasy but ok. We then ordered the hot and sour soup which was average. Our final dish a spicy beef stir fry which was chewy and had a shiny appearance (msg)? No spice. The plain white rice (although I'm not a fan of steamed plain rice) actually tasted quite good. So, my recommendation is if you have a craving for Chinese food, you'll satisfy your craving, but if you're after a gastronomic Chinese meal, scratch this one off your list."

"We expect a better experience, especially seeing the price 37€ per head for lamb and shrimp. the lamb of two went dry, and the other, though not dry, was a sous, a double better than the lamb, but none of the other world either. certainly a low quality for a high price, but then the staff delay in serving does not add anything good. which is appreciated if the building's atmosphere seems recently refurbished, even if the seats were too hard. really a daunting experience, my recommendation, in haro there are restaurants at better price and with much more quality."

"If visiting Haro, this restaurant is a MUST! Every item we ordered was some of the best food we had on our vacation — from the baked mushrooms, cheesy risotto and octopus to the homemade cheesecake. We were there on a Saturday night in November and didn’t have any trouble getting a table in the restaurant. If there during a more popular time, you’d want a reservation for sure. As for the staff, they were so friendly and accommodating, both to my gluten allergy and to our not speaking Spanish. They made sure to translate everything and double-checked with the chef that all ingredients were gluten free for me. If we are anywhere near Haro again, we would drive out of our way to eat at Restaurante El Jarrero again!"
