A delightful restuarant with charming staff and a great menu. We enjoyed the first meal so much we came back again during a short stay.

Returned here after visiting last year and having some superb meals . Again fantastic service, great value , excellent cuisine and the cocktails are amazing. We have already planned to return next year

Situated in the the middle of the country side you find this small restaurant. It was almost fully booked ( mainly tourists ) and the service is done by one lady. The food was of good quality and tasteful. No frills just a good dinner.

If you can find Ryes you will find the restaurant. There is not a lot else there, but find it and eat the food is superb. Not fast service but everything is freshly cooked and the quality is great.Weekends it's busy so look it up and book to ensure you can get a table. The locals eat here and they class it as good, and they are right.

We had a fantastic meal! EVERYTHING was suburb! We had the tartine normande, prawn in a most delicious shallot sauce, salmon, veal, escargots... We all enjoyed everything and had not a single complaint. Was the best meal of our vacation by far! The hostess was lovely and though spoke perfect English allowed me to practice my very rusty French!

Following a tip from the concierge of our holiday gite we tried this charming little restaurant near to our Commes location. What an excellent find ! So good we could not wait to return to sample its delights. Superb service, English spoken and food to travel great distances for. All this at excellent value too ! Must find an excuse to go again.

Restaurant recommended by our host at La Gentilhommiere in Manvieux, not far away. The food was amazing, tasty, and beautifully presented. Loved the apple sorbet with Calvados! Just one waitress looking after about 22 people working quickly and efficiently and always smiling. Longing for our next holiday in France so that we can go back to this lovely little restaurant.

Nous étions avec deux enfants. J'ai eu la possibilité de réserver sur place, une table un peu à l'écart où les petites ont pu se lever facilement de temps en temps, comme elles ont pu aussi (accompagnées) aller jouer sur un terrain en face du restaurant, ce qui a raccourci l'attente des plats. Pour nous, l'attente (normale quand les plats sont réalisés à la demande) n'a pas paru trop longue. Des feuilletés apéritifs au dessert tout était parfait. L'accueil est charmant, professionnel et attentionné pour les enfants.

This was one the best meals I've had in a while - and excellent value for money too. We stopped in after reading some of the reviews with 2 hours to kill before we had to leave to catch the ferry. Lunch lasted 3 hours and we happily took a later ferry. Within 30 minutes of arriving 9 tables (23 people) were filled and being attended to only by Christelle. She handled the packed dining room to perfection. And the chef sent out plate after plate of excellent food. We went with our 2 tween\teen kids (and dog) and they all loved it as well.
