La Ripaille - Speisekarte

The food was delicious, the best peppered steak i had in a long long time. The service was very good and gave us a lot of information about gold beach with some exclusive photos !

En week-end à Arromanches, nous avons dîné à La Ripaille. Quelle belle découverte!Cadre simple. Service très agréable. De l'entrée au dessert, ce fut un délice!Nous reviendrons, c'est sur!

A nice pleasant stop during our visit to Arromanches-les-Bains The meals where very nice although the steak dishes appear to be a little on the small side. But having said that altogether nice tasty food Speisekarte ansehen

Une petite perle La ripaille ,c'est la trouvaille au détour d'une rue , une petite surface accueillante , la patronne au petit soin de ses clients et de bons petits plats , un endroit ou on se sent bien , un certaine intimité et un cadre tranquille ou l'on prend le temps d'une soirée pour profiter d'un bon diner .

Parfait du début à la fin ! Brochette de boeuf extra moules marinière extra crémeuse et les desserts un délice ! Au vu des critiques nous sommes allés directement à cette adresse. L accueil est charmant, la jeune femme qui tient les lieux est vraiment tres agréable, souriante et rigolote.Un peu d attente cependant C est dimanche donc pas de souci.La carte est assez grande et les plats sont bons mais tres classiques avec un dressage des plus simples ...Au final C est bon, C est standard, 24€ pour un plat, un dessert, une bolée, café , ça fait un peu trop !18 serait mieux passé... We are surprised by the reviews about this restaurant. We ordered a galette and the house special beef bourgeon. The beef bourgeon was inedible, it was full of gristle; we sent it back, what came back was an over cooked steak and fries. The galette...was pretty tasteless and the scallops were over cooked but after one meal sent back we could not be bothered to argue. A bill of 50euros for two mains, aperitif and a bottle cider was steep even if the food had been good, which it wasn’t. Service was pleasant but ultimately you go to a restaurant to eat. We have travelled and eaten out across France over many years and we have had some amazing meals but this is the worst.

Ok, I know this place is not waterfront, and yes this place is not on the main drag with all the souvenir shops. Sometimes you need to travel back, behind the second row, to chance upon a hidden gem. Upon entering, we were greeted with a freshly prepared table. We were seated and immediately refreshed with a cold drink almost instantly. Our French language barrier was defeated by our host, as he explained the menu with a clever twist adding a French accent to his English interpretation. We were able to choose from a large variety of local, fresh cuisine. The aroma from the kitchen was empting into the street, stopping passersby, as they slowed they became trapped and too, added to the dining...

Dined here tonight with my family after a day of sight-seeing in Arromanches and the surrounding area. It was a Sunday evening and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I speak a little French, but my family speaks none and the staff was happy to...help them work through the menu where I was unable to. When the food did arrive, it was delicious. My brother and I shared the mussels which were plentiful, fresh, and well-prepared. My mom ordered a galetta which was delicious, and my dad had the steak au poivre which suited even his discerning steak palate. Though the food was tasty, the staff really sold this place.
