La Ripaille - Speisekarte

The food was delicious, the best peppered steak i had in a long long time. The service was very good and gave us a lot of information about gold beach with some exclusive photos !

En week-end à Arromanches, nous avons dîné à La Ripaille. Quelle belle découverte!Cadre simple. Service très agréable. De l'entrée au dessert, ce fut un délice!Nous reviendrons, c'est sur!

A nice pleasant stop during our visit to Arromanches-les-Bains The meals where very nice although the steak dishes appear to be a little on the small side. But having said that altogether nice tasty food Speisekarte ansehen

Une petite perle La ripaille ,c'est la trouvaille au détour d'une rue , une petite surface accueillante , la patronne au petit soin de ses clients et de bons petits plats , un endroit ou on se sent bien , un certaine intimité et un cadre tranquille ou l'on prend le temps d'une soirée pour profiter d'un bon diner .

Au vu des critiques nous sommes allés directement à cette adresse. L accueil est charmant, la jeune femme qui tient les lieux est vraiment tres agréable, souriante et rigolote.Un peu d attente cependant C est dimanche donc pas de souci.La carte est assez grande et les plats sont bons mais tres classiques avec un dressage des plus simples ...Au final C est bon, C est standard, 24€ pour un plat, un dessert, une bolée, café , ça fait un peu trop !18 serait mieux passé...

Cosy French bistro style restaurant, brightly coloured in reds and purples very French. Started with escargots nice to have choice of 6 or 12. My other half had skate, which he thought excellent meaty and with a beurre noisettes sauce. I went for the confit of duck with their own sauce which was a Lardon and mushroom based meaty sauce. Nice to have rice instead of chips and a courgette gratin, sadly was cold as was most of my meal, although well flavoured. Generous desserts were delivered to the next table. Speisekarte ansehen

We kwamen rond 19 u aan. We waren helemaal alleen maar een uur later zat het er aardig gevuld. Praatje gedaan met de gastvrouw. Een zeer vriendelijke dame.2 menu's ripaille genomen.1 gerookte zalm1 bord met crevettes en oesters (de wulken hadden ze niet kunnen verkrijgen, kwam de gastvrouw ons mee delen) 1 zeetong (iets te weinig gebakken)1 roggevleugel met kappertjesAlles was supervers. Een roggevleugel die niet dagvers is, ruikt (stinkt) van 100 m afstand.2 crème brulée Lekker gegeten. Komen we hier nog terug als we in arromanches zijn ? Zeker weten !

We are surprised by the reviews about this restaurant. We ordered a galette and the house special beef bourgeon. The beef bourgeon was inedible, it was full of gristle; we sent it back, what came back was an over cooked steak and fries. The galette...was pretty tasteless and the scallops were over cooked but after one meal sent back we could not be bothered to argue. A bill of 50euros for two mains, aperitif and a bottle cider was steep even if the food had been good, which it wasn’t. Service was pleasant but ultimately you go to a restaurant to eat. We have travelled and eaten out across France over many years and we have had some amazing meals but this is the worst.

Dined here tonight with my family after a day of sight-seeing in Arromanches and the surrounding area. It was a Sunday evening and the staff was welcoming and helpful. I speak a little French, but my family speaks none and the staff was happy to...help them work through the menu where I was unable to. When the food did arrive, it was delicious. My brother and I shared the mussels which were plentiful, fresh, and well-prepared. My mom ordered a galetta which was delicious, and my dad had the steak au poivre which suited even his discerning steak palate. Though the food was tasty, the staff really sold this place. Everyone was welcoming and helpful, and they made an instant friend of my father... Speisekarte ansehen
