"A traditional country auberge with check table cloths and exposed beams. There is a covered terrace at the front overlooking the Place de l'Eglise. There was a friendly welcome from the chef and friendly and efficient service from his staff. The menu is written on a blackboard and offers a wide choice which varies 'selon le marché'. At lunch 3 course cost 19.80 euros or 16.80 euros for 2 courses. It is more expensive in the evenings. It is worth booking as it was full on a Tuesday lunchtime. The food was good honest country cooking in decent but not too large portions with a few interesting touches. The freshly baked bread rolls with curry & garlic were very good. Plain baguette was available too. The fish soufflé with St Jacques and a lemon sauce went down well. I had a steak with sauce au poivre which was very good and the mixed vegetables and pommes dauphinoises were served in just the right quantities. The desserts were very good too. My wife had strawberries with strawberry ice cream. I had the tarte maison du jour which was an apple tart served with vanilla ice cream and a bitter caramel sauce. There was a choice of wine by the glass or you were invited to buy a bottle and take home what you hadn't drunk. Overall a very pleasant meal and there were plenty of other dishes on the menu that I would have liked to try. The restaurant is conveniently situated for walks in the attractive Val-Suzon."

This is a restaurant with good quality, made to order (not frozen stuff reheated as in many french restaurant these days) and honest food. The menu is limited, a good hint that is real home cooked and relatively classical French. Nothing out of the ordinary. I was disapointed by the portion, there were quite small even the price was a little high. The room is almost without decoration and the staff wasn't trained in Lausane.Some stuff is experiemental but not so good like the curry bread.

I have a lot of this little messigny and vantoux restaurant, 20 minutes north of the saying. It's the old store in town, where people bought bread, pure, fruit. Now they made an old-style restaurant, with old tables, a wooden bar, but they serve an amazing meal. the menu costs about 30 euros per person, we started with foie gras, made at home, and as it was Christmas, the owner gave us some pate boats also. Then we ordered wild pork in wine sauce, got me, meat could cook more to be tenderer. desserts try a cheesecake, very rich too. with white wine from the region, it was a very good meal. This hostel is a real small nugget on the outskirts of Dijon. We discovered this place on the occasion of an invitation on April 29. Nestled in the center of the city, the affluence is measured from the difficulties to park. Two fully furnished rooms but a pleasant welcome from all the staff. It's already very positive. Small butterfly then meurette eggs for 2 people for the other 2 snails and beef dick with a sauce parsley a discovery and a real pleasure.
