parada forzada en la ruta del valle del genal y la serrania de la vuelta. un lugar muy acogedor con gente muy agradable y atenta. suculenta cocina tradicional y también moderna, menú variado, buena necesidad y postres caseros.

We ate in a large group and although the starters and salads were excellent and my own vegetarian option was good, many others chose the solomillo (pork), which was tough. However, it's a pleasant restaurant and the staff are very friendly.

The owners of this fabulous restaurant are friends of ours we've been visiting the pueblo, where this restaurant is located, for over 20 years and, we've had our own little casa in the village for some 15 years now the food at the Audalazar is, to us, unbeatable whether a main meal, the menu del dia or a few tapas totally delicious. Impresionante calidad de menú del día!!!. Unas migas excelentes y unos chicharitos en potaje al mejor estilo de cocina antigua de la buena, a fuego lento. La carrillada con setas perfectas. Fuera de menú no hay que dejar de probar el queso de almendra, joya gastronómica de repostería del Genial, exclusiva de Atajate. El expreso muy bueno y, gentileza de la casa, un licor tipo pacharán delicioso. Un 10. Precio del menú del día 9€, de risa para la excelencia que ofrecen.

We always repeat and worth a good comment! a very good breakfast, good quality and better price to then return at lunch, ask: duck to the port, individual tips full of dates and roqueford, picandú salad and brownie postre(this is my order.) the other friends enjoyed as good dishes. exquisite, fast and charming treatment! We have spent a good day with friends in ajaate! Arrived here on a busy Sunday. It was pandemonium. Stood apparently invisible at the door while staff rushed around. Two other groups arrived to clog the doorway further, noise was unbearable. Finally was seated by owner outside as we had requested by our phone reservation. A bit quieter mercifully. I was all for going elsewhere after such a disorganised and frantic start. Glad we didn't.A charming and delightful server Estephania (sorry for any mispelling) brought calm to the table as she serenely took our order and attended to us smiling throughout.
