Had a Sunday roast here, booked in advance. We tried the beef and pork, both excellent but the beef definitely takes the prize. Yorkshire pudding and roasted veggies were also great. All in all, well worth the cost. We also had the apple dessert, a unique but tasty dish. Service was overall very good. We went there for my partner’s birthday, he said it was one of the best fillet steaks he had eaten. The staff were very friendly and the service was very good. The only thing which was disappointing was there was not much choice on the sweets and 2 were unavailable. Had a Sunday Roast (pork) and it was top notch. Pork was good (though my partner had the beef and it was probably even better), cauliflower cheese was super tasty, veg was all on point, and the large Yorkshire on top was the highlight. Sat in the upstairs and it was a lovely atmosphere and a great space. Would come back here again if I'm stopping in Hathersage again! Loved thsi palce went on Saturday afternoon after a walk incredible service from Jaz friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Food was excellent I had the Korena chicked wrap which was great although could've had a bit more sauce. The halloumi fries with Chilli jam were incredible. Standard fries were deliciopus but the star was the Cauliflower risotto which was absoloutely sensational! All boxes well ticked, couldn't have asked for more.
