"On February 29th, my group and I were surprised when the manager informed us at 10:15pm that the restaurant was closing and we needed to finish our drinks and leave the bar. Shortly after, another staff member approached us with her jacket on and reiterated that we needed to vacate the premises. In a group of 21 people, along with three of us and another two ladies, we were all asked to leave. Earlier, at 9:50pm, the group of 21 had requested another round of drinks and were told they had to pay by card if they wanted to order more. Last orders were called at 10pm. When the manager returned at 10:25pm wearing his jacket, we questioned him about the closing time, as the website indicated it was open until 11pm. He explained that from December to June, the restaurant closes at 10:30pm, but we noted that the website had not been updated to reflect this change. This review would not have been written if the staff had not been so abrupt in their approach. Sincerely, Tracy Watson."

The Lanarkshire Armed Veterans breakfast club is held there on the 3rd Sunday of every month. I attended this. Fantastic atmosphere food staff.

Christmas Dinner was lovely. Staff very cheery and festive. Fast service. Will need to pop back now for a wee lunch date. We'll done to all the staff. Merry Christmas

Enjoyed a lovely Christmas dinner here today. Food was excellent. Staff amazing, so helpful and friendly. It was quite quiet when we were there, starting to get busier as we were leaving, so nice quiet atmosphere.

Return visit for a family meal.We we’re greeted in the usual friendly way.The restaurant has a spacious feel to it so felt relaxed although very busy.Plenty of variety on the menu at a reasonable price.We all had something different and non of us were disappointed.Will return again on our next visit.

We arrived at half past 5 for our booked reservation and found the restaurant to be moderately busy. We waited half an hour for our order to be taken, and another 30 minutes for our food to arrive. After waiting 40 minutes for a server to take our dessert order, we had to go find someone ourselves. We ended up waiting over an hour and ultimately had to cancel our order. The service was absolutely terrible, and we will not be returning. It took over 2 and a half hours just to receive our main meal. Shelly, the person at the till, was rude and showed no remorse.
