Bird In The Barley - Speisekarte

Bird and the Barley is open again. Social distancing observed. Food still as good as ever. No draught beers yet but excellent bottles of beer. Love the new decor throughout. Very light and inviting.

Barstaff hardly behind the bar, having to wait to be served even though no one else was at the bar. meal nothing special just usuall pub grub but smaller portions, would be better going to a pub chain

We recently visited on a Friday evening. Staff were quick and attentive throughout. The food was lovely, fresh and homemade. Portion sizes were large and I couldn't manage to eat it all! The environment felt very covid safe and we had a lovely evening. Speisekarte ansehen

My husband and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary and chose Bird in the Barley, Messingham, for our meal! Having not been to a restaurant since Covid began, we were happy to feel normal again. Our meals were excellent and could not fault the service....We will certainly be booking again!!

Been today at lunch time with friends. Food very good and served with a smile. Compliments to the chef and all the staff. It was a very relaxing atmosphere. Only problem was that we had to wait for the bill. Another table paying individually and...some of our table chose from menus. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed it clean plates says it all!!

This is our first visit here after wanting to come for so long. We was not disappointed, the inside is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, and could not do enough for us. The food was also amazing,portion size was more then enough,...all home made. An absolutely fabulous experience. Would definitely recommend it and will definitely be back again. Thankyou. The team at the Bird in the Barley worked tirelessly all night to ensure our three course meal' birthday party was a perfect evening. The food was excellent, and the service from all the staff was first class. Your hard work and attention to...detail was really appreciated. When I booked this meal earlier in the week I was told the website was incorrect in that it indicated the Tea Time Special' was only available between and In fact I was told it is available all the time as an alternative...to the Main Menu. In the event we booked for and on arrival we found the venue was really busy with people of all ages present having meals. We were quickly shown to a table for the three of us and offered drinks whilst perusing a paper menu each that consisted of the Lunch and Tea Time Specials' on one side and the Main Menu' on the reverse.
