Great food, Lovely and friendly service. Had the small fish and chips, the batter was lovely crisp and light. The kids meals were very nice aswell. Delicious Dorest cider, Would recommend, It was very cosy in there x

Went for Lunch today with a friend, I have to say I had the Best fish chips I’ve ever had. Excellent food, also gluten free batter on the fish was just delicious. Also great value for money. Will definitely be returning 100

The staff was wonderful. Ben upgraded us to room number seven, which had a huge double bed and a beautiful sea view. My wife enjoyed the scallops, and I had the fish and chips with mushy peas, which were absolutely delicious. Speisekarte ansehen

In my, almost, 40 years of visiting West Bay, I finally went in the arms to get out of the howling wind and rain. Can’t believe I’ve never been in! Friendliest staff, reasonable prices and we were allowed to take the dog in with us. Loved it!

The atmosphere at this restaurant is delightful. I had a very enjoyable Sunday roast with friends and family. They even welcome dogs, providing individual dog drinking bowls which was a nice touch. The staff were friendly, the food was good, and the location was great. I will definitely be visiting again.

We 'd never eaten in the Bridport Arms before but decided to try a Sunday roast. We were not disappointed we started with the tomato soup which was delicious. The roast dinner was cooked to perfection with a large portion of beef, fresh vegetables and 'real gravy '. For dessert we had the rhubarb and apple sundae which again, was delicious. We contacted the Bridport Arms as we had a couple of requests that we wanted to be sure where ever we booked to eat were aware of and could help us. I have to say that the team were amazing, they were super helpful and really sorted us out. The food was fantastic too, my OH had the special that was delicious and we also had a vegan with us whose options were considerable when compared to other places. We were really happy with our experience and wish the team there all the best for the future. We hope to be back with fewer challenges!

Maybe 2.30 was late to be booking Sunday lunch (be warned) but the main course options were an embarrassment (only beef and chicken), all three meals when they were served had to be sent back because they were cold. The food was tasteless, was pre cooked rather than freshly cooked and showed a total absence of anything approaching professional cheffing. Oh, and the Palmers beer was 70p a pint yes 70p a pint more expensive than other pubs in the town. In all, they’re taking the day tripping punters for granted. The waiting staff was lovely though.

The pub has a lovely appearance and is in a great location with a large car park and clean toilets. The staff were lovely and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. When our meals arrived, the presentation was lacking. The sausage and mash resembled school dinners, with flavorless and lumpy mashed potatoes, watery gravy, and bland sausages. The hake was tasty but the portion size did not justify the cost. My fish and chips were delicious, but I ordered a small portion and was charged for a large. Despite requesting normal peas instead of minted mushy peas, they still served the wrong side and I had to ask for a replacement. When the bill came, we requested to pay separately, bu...
