the food was particularly good here. a bit on the expensive side bit definitiw it worth.

beautiful meal and fantastic service. nothing was too much annoyed. I even made a bath to come home. we will definitely be back. very highly recommended

We first visited brodies almost a year ago while passing through. We loved it so much that we made a point to detour to have a meal there again. Food is amazing and staff are lovely

Came here looking for some rest after broqsing the charity shops down the road and had a lovely comforting cup of tea. The owner was extremely kind and normaly I wouldn't write review for just having a cuppa, however. Kindness needs an award and I wanted to point this out.

We had coffee and cake in here, staff were absolutely great but the decor felt a little thrown together and rather tired. However, the atmosphere was still nice and welcoming, a bit like a public house from the late 90s. A bit of a refurbishment to bring it up to date or to create a style would make it a 5.

We arrived as a party of 4 and ordered drinks and food, one of our guests was arriving 15 minutes later only to be told the kitchen was closing which meant 4 of us ate and one of us didn’t. We were also harassed to finish our food 10 minutes after it was delivered. All in all the service was really poor, bordering on rudeness. We should have been told on arrival that they were about to close. Wouldn't recommend and certainly won’t be back!

hidden on this small beauty by accident, outstanding! go out for a bike tour with a few mates and were greeted by the excellent coworkers. warm, friendly and very professional. eating was amazing, really delicious and cooked to perfection, every penny worth. my kumpels had the Steak-Ale-Pie, and I went with the swell and chips, was not disappointed! and not to mention the fantastic dessert menu! the pavlowa cheesecake is to die for! we are looking forward to our next visit!

My family arrived at the restaurant 2.30pm, and I was coming to join them after my work. I arrived at 2.45pm. The woman handed me a menu, within 5 seconds I was asked what I wanted. So I said “I have just been handed the menu, can you give me a minute please” and the woman responded extremely rudely “well the kitchen is closing so hurry up”. I handed the woman back the menu and told her not to bother. My families meals arrived shortly after as they had all ordered around half 2. The food for my family arrived at around 2.50pm. By 3pm, the woman came over asking my family if they were finished yet… Each plate still had atleast half the meal left so it was clear nobody was close to finished. T...
