The staff were excellent and very friendly. The food was perfect and you can tell it was cooked by an Italian chef and very fresh. This js now one of my favourite restaurants in England. Very much enjoyed eating here. Made very welcome by the waitress, and although we arrived early shown to our table. The pizza garlic bread amazingly delicious. Our main courses all different and very tasty. We were able to stay at our table without any pressure to vacate the table. Yes, I would happily return here. This Italian restaurant, run by a family, offers an authentic experience with a great atmosphere and delicious freshly cooked food. I opted for something from the Specials Board, but the options on the Main Menu looked equally tempting. The service was excellent, and overall I would highly recommend this restaurant for lunch. The price per person is around £30-40, and I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all with a perfect score of 5. One recommended dish is the House Red wine.

The place is NOT safe for women! The manager cannot handle constructive criticism and acts tough to women by leaning over the table and pointing fingers to their face. Sadly a very awful and slow experience with the added value of incompetent and incoherent table staff. 20 mins for the starters and over 40 mins for the mains is by any standards unacceptable! I only made it to the starter which was awful. We were seated in the basement area and waited 10 minutes just to receive menus. In fact, we were only given menus when the table next to us ordered, and they had to pass their menus to us, which only covered half of our table. The staff did not want to give us the appropriate number of menus. The food and drinks took a long time to arrive, and the starters were not great as they came warm. When the main dishes finally arrived, they forgot one of our orders and claimed it was on its way. Most of us had almost finished our meals when they returned to say it was nearly ready, without acknowledging their mistake.
