Cafe de la Place - Speisekarte

Super dissapointed! Stopped in for a quick desert with my partner on the way back to our hotel.

Traditional French cafe perfect for breakfast! I recommend sitting outside for people watching and the fresh air.

near our rental apartment, we had a great meal and a very attentive service. the beef had an excellent flavor, the vegetable risotto was tasty. overall, an excellent experience.

the coffee of the square is a former traditional place of Montparnasse. dear and nothing special. The only great thing is the joseph's pancakes. he got 5 stars for the best betting pancakes. (attention coffee pancakes are not joseph)

food is insipid and poor quality. the restaurant can only be described as a tourist trap. To crown everything, the waiter overturned a drink on me. we clearly indicated that we were not satisfied with the food, but the server simply ignored it. it is better to avoid because there are many better restaurants to bet in the same price category.

It is because of places like this one that Parisian restaurants/cafés have such a bad reputation. it gathers all the worst clichés: ugly servers (impossible to pay an invoice of €9.5 with a credit card, you had to go to a distributor to a block paste, and the server seemed to appreciate), crazy prices (5,4 € for a soda 25cl). concerning food, desserts were stacked in aluminum paper and in large fridges. overall, one of my worst betting experiences, a shame because the neighborhood is actually really cool. Run as long as you can.

We walked all three in a grey Tuesday afternoon looking for a decent lunch. coffee is nice, traditional and not too close. We were helped by a friendly and smiling waitress, who gave us the menus and explained the dishes of the day. We ordered onion soup, pasta, quiche and toast. Onion soup was excellent: good broth with lots of onions, covered with pieces of bread and melted cheese that had a good heating in an oven, not a microwave. the pasta was vegetarian penne, not entirely piquant and missing some flavor. not above the average (but not below either). the quiche was made with feta cheese and olives. I've never had such a recipe before, and I'm glad I had it - but I'll never have it agai... Speisekarte ansehen
