"the tourrel hotel has two restaurants, one star and the rooftop. This is the second one we chose to celebrate our Bois wedding.Terrace with twelve seating places, this rooftop offers a magnificent view of the roofs in tile of Saint-Rémy (and their old-fashioned antennas) and on the bell tower and dome of the Saint-Martin collegial. In addition, we see the sunset giving the sky pink and purple colors. Jazz lounge music brings a peaceful hearing cocoon to which the urban sling of pigeons and doves joins.Besides furnishings, there is a particularity: guests eat side by side on comfortable and wide benches, in front of which there is a personal grained iron tray that gets closer thanks to folding arms. a small olive tree and a golden lamp are used as a decor. Intissé set, covered christofles, monogrammee roedererer for champagne, towel in immaculate white fabric, small dish to pour an olive oil that is presented to us as wine. everything is done so that the customer feels comfortable.Two waitresses are in charge of the terrace. Mastering English to perfection, they take the time to chat with customers and answer all the questions asked. We have taken an aperitif in the form of roederer champagne for my wife, of Cast Iron white wine, a domain of Saint-Rémy de provence, for me. white wine kept its promises of dry wine and expressing its flavor at the beginning of the sip. Moreover, the glass was generously filled. Three amuse-bouches per person were brought: a thyme fecaccia with some fatty salt grains, with a brioche texture; a sanded pie on which was a fresh and juicy tomato capsule; a spoon of onion cream for me and toro tartar for my wife. The rooftop menu is unique. However, when I reserved, I was able to express my will not to eat meat (from which the spoon of onion cream) and it was asked if we had allergies. In short, the menu is adaptable. The dinner started with a carpaccio plate of mulet sprinkled with spike pepper, cucumber and green apple rounds, as well as some radish pieces. Thus, with the flexibility of the fish mixed the crunch of radish and cucumber, to which the acidulated green apple was added. a beautiful equation in mouth, fresh and season. A second entrance consisted of a smoked tomato heart with cherry and basil. On the side of the plate, a small pond of tomato consummation on which a net of olive oil was poured live, brought a welcome decline. Two refreshing entries preceded the first resistance dish composed of two gambas standing on caddy rice bathing in a bisque on the tarragon. The gambas were fleshy. their shell had not been fried, so she didn't eat. The rice was very slightly crunchy and the bisque raised it intelligently. Some pieces of pepper came to enrich the plate. The second dish was a dorade net and its grilled skin, accompanied by an artistic fennel purée presented as a comma. smoked fennel was also present. at the base, I'm not a fennel fan because its anise taste disturbs me. But this one was so well smoked that I didn't feel that taste in the mouth. I even enjoyed it, like the perfectly cooked dorade. On the other hand, and the flat is of importance, the fennel purée was lukewarm or even cold at the end. in a restaurant of this standing, it is abnormal and I have only little appreciated the purée. Knowing that guests eat outside, heating the plates as it is done in many restaurants is a minimum. The dessert made me forget this disappointment at the moment: we had the right to a crumble of destructed walnut on which slices of roasted peaches (or nectarines) had been deposited. The flavours of thyme and honey predominate this sweet gourmet dessert. However, to balance this and not make forget the fruit, a peach yoghurt sorbet was found on the crumble. the team had thought of putting a candle on it to symbolize our wedding anniversary, a touching attention. You must add to all this a country bread to the leaven (except mistake) of high quality. a very shallow half, it was served as a small miche divided into four. crispy, it could dip in a local olive oil with a strong taste. A tea came to close the dinner. I enjoyed the colorful service type bohemian in which it was served. I don't remember the brand on the other hand. It was neither dammann nor brotherly marriage. I just know that green tea was very good and I could have made at least four cups (I stopped at three). My wife took a coffee and, there, second flat (soulded at the time of payment of the bill), the coffee came warm! like purée, in a restaurant of this standing, it's not normal. damage because with the drinks we were brought two very pleasant hot and flexible madeleines.Whether I just spoke of the addition, as much as to talk about it. Dinner is at euros. with the drinks (a cup of champagne, four glasses of wine and a bottle of water), dinner came back to euros. This tariff is to comfort me in the justification of the flats. but I retain mainly the impeccable service, the magical place, the quality of the food, the very reasonable quantity, the unbeatable view, the tranquility of the terrace, the fact that what is announced on the menu is found in the plate, in short, I hold a very good time that I advise you to discover."
