Lovely place and atmosphere. Staff very helpful. My stater was very good but the main was disappointing. Worth a visit though.

Food is always really nice but service is just too slow. We ordered our take away an hour and 50 mi s ago and still waiting....

dinner here on Sunday night, never eat tai before and it was nice. the staff was very helpful and friendly to guide us through the menu. aircon was a boun after a hot day in the garden. will certainly go again, even not far to travel. many thanks to x Speisekarte ansehen

In my original review I complained that the staff don't get any tips that you put on your card. I've since spoken to Cafe Thai and they have said that although they don't encourage tipping as part of your card payment, (as it is difficult to share out at the end of the evening) if it does happen they reimburse the staff tips pot in cash and the pot is then shared amongst all the staff. I'm more than happy to be corrected as this is a truly fab restaurant. The food is to die for.

my wife and I have booked cafe thai tapas for a private ruby wedding party. we had the space exclusively and invited about 50 close friends and family and must say that it is one of the best places for a function. the whole event was well received by our guests with big commentary about eating, personal and venue. the food and service were excellent and they could not do enough for us. I would like to thank mike for his organization and make sure everything is to be planned. I cannot praise this place enough and would recommend it to everyone to plan a party or celebration. many thanks to all involved.

we were at the Cafe Thai tonight. when we were there, it seemed that we were booked twice. we were asked to sit on the bar and we immediately thought it would be a bad experience. within about two minutes they had set us, so if they had booked twice, they managed to correct the situation very quickly and professionally. eating was absolutely amazing. I am a massive spice freak and very rare I go to the restaurant where they say something is spicy and something is actually (the taste was still beautiful and was not replaced by the flavor) the decor and the atmosphere were brilliant. thanks to the waitress who found out where the dining chairs were from.
