Another year, another reunion, this year we choose Casa Pena as a recommendation from one of the guys in the group, good meat in quality, and price, the owners were quite nice too. I can say that it was spot on!

This is a very good restaurant for traditional Galician fare. We ate callos (tripe and chickpeas), steaks, hake and roast beef. All very well done. Very good wine list here too. Prices are perfectly reasonable and the service unhurried, warm and attentive. Also, very generous portions.

Everything we ate here was delicious. The scallops in pastry the turbot and excellent meat were truly memorable. The wine list although very large is also extremely reasonable. The current proprietor Laura is the grand daughter of the original owners who started the restaurant in 1939. A lot of the food is sourced locally through the restaurants purveyors of long standing. Unpretentious perfectly cooked food. Highly recommended..

I've all tried to make it an exceptional quality. the wine menu has an impressive amount of references and the agreement is attentive and pleasant. every time I go it's a bit dramatic to choose the food because it means choosing dishes that I won't eat. an authentic gift for the senses (although they eat on the terrace overlooking the wonderful Galician nature). a small extract of recommended dishes: cecina, centolla salad, zamburiñas empathy, wild boar, beef to the stone and the solomillo with foie.

excellent meat. very well prepared. fried potatoes in wheels, blown. incoming and first well chosen. seasonal fish, local, for those who don't want meat. they work the product. good desserts. all done with cario and dedication. the winery is an unbelievable walk by designations of origin of spaa, and even has options in special formats. In a ocasin, my political family (who are foreigners but speak well spaol and even understand Galician) asked for mid-range meat and, when it was time to collect, a person came and told them they were wrong, they had served the top ox rank and they were charged this one.
