"We were met at the door and showed to our table by a very polite member of staff. The room was light and airy with lovely decor and aircon. We were given time to select drinks then food. Everyone we spoke with was helpful and polite. The food was amazing and the Chef came out to ensure the food was good and the heat of a dish was how we liked it. It was a great evening, a great food experience in a relaxed environment. We will be going back, thanks to you all in the New Saffron."

"Stopped off mid-morning for a late breakfast having read they serve breakfast all day. The place was rammed, which is usually a good sign, so not altogether surprised to be told there would be a 15 minute wait for food. Sadly, the drinks took 15 minutes and the food, at least half an hour. Admittedly, the food was good when it came and the staff were all very friendly and helpful, but it was a long wait and would make me think twice about returning, which is a shame as all the other elements were good...."

"I ordered takeout including prawn balls, prawn toast, and king prawn rice. Everything was well-prepared, although the sweet and sour sauce had a bit too much vinegar for my taste. The delivery was incredibly quick and the phone service was excellent. I will definitely order from here again!"

"The Sunday roast was enjoyable, but I really missed having roasted parsnips, and the Yorkshire pudding was a bit overdone. The bratkartoffeln could be improved by serving smaller pieces, as that would allow for a crispy exterior while keeping the insides tender. The current size makes them resemble large baked potatoes rather than the crispy bites I prefer. While it's not traditional, I don't think mashed potatoes are needed. I hope my feedback is taken as constructive criticism. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I'm looking forward to trying something else from the menu soon."

"This was hands down the best fish and chips I have had in a long time. I had the haddock twice and a pineapple fritter with chips - everything tasted fresh and had great flavor. The haddock was cooked perfectly, with crunchy batter that sealed in the fish beautifully. If I lived closer, I would definitely visit more often. But I will definitely be coming back. Absolutely fantastic!"
