Ate lunch there on June 22, 2015Tried chicken tikka with riceI expected better taste.

After a long tiring trip to the palace of Versailles, we were headed back to the city and were walking to the metro station.

Possibly the worst Indian restaurant in Europe. Surly incompetent service which is actually the highlight when considering the food. Consider McDonalds over this place. Speisekarte ansehen

We found this nugget on our way from walking the gardens at the Palace of Versailles. It was just what we needed to satisfy our hunger. The server was very friendly and attentive. The food was good. Would definitely eat here again.

I have been to many parts of the world-this is the worst 'Indian' (if you like)meal I have had to experience.The prawn dish was in an almost tasteless sauce,likewise the lamb madras was similarly tasteless with NO HEAT AT ALL,and only 4 pieces of lamb.Both servings were small,and they could not get us out fast enough.It was a busy night-eve of the Bastille-but that is no excuse for poor food.

My wife and I went here w our toddler after a trip to Versailles. Sat outside. OnlyPpl there for awhile. Great surprise! Good food. The tikka masala was amazing. The naan bread w cheese was excellent. Good yogurt sauce and chutney. Based on the other reviews, which we did not read before we sat, would not have tried...but glad we did! The food was good. The indian bread (butter naan) was much thicker and softer than any other restaurants i have eaten in europe. My colleagues also liked the food. Both menu and separate meals available. They provided the rice in a common plate to all colleagues who paid for it separately and also who had it included with the dish. So this part was not ok,but otherwise its good. They know Hindi but hesitate to speak (why i don't understand?). But anyways it has nothing to do with the food.

We liked being on Rue de Satory, and this place appeared popular the previous night, so we gave it a shot.Service was fine. Good was presented well. There was less heat and spice than we have been used to for Indian food, so we found it a bit bland, but the consistency was fine. The rice was also a bit oily.Overall not the best Indian food out there but not the worst. The location is great so if you're craving Indian food it's a decent option, but if you're looking for location, other options might serve the palate.

On a recent visit to Versailles we opted for a curry due to my gluten intolerance. Curries are normally ok as they usually only use gram flour and spices. The staff didn't have a clue what 'sans gluten' (gluten free in French) was. They also didn't understand what 'gram flour' was despite it being one the main flour used in curry house food worldwide. I gave up and took the risk that the curry would be ok. From a positive perspective neither me or my partner got jelly belly the next day. Sadly the curry had virtually no taste and I only had 6 small pieces of chicken in my curry. Very poor. If in Versailles you fancy going for a curry, don't go here and expect it to have lots of flavour and m... Speisekarte ansehen
