Favourite Thai - Speisekarte

Loved this place for years, nice spicy, love the Tom yum soup, all the curries, spicy (think Singapore) rice, som tam salad is gorgeous! some nice wines. Go for all my special treats.

Another excellent meal always plump for the set meal for two which gives a variety of dishs ideal to sample different tastes Lovely staff always welccoming excellent service love everything about this restuarant

I was here so often, but tonight was so busy in the restaurant. I am so happy that the local family-run restaurant is really good. eating is very tasty as always, the service was great. very recommended Thai beer with Thai food. I'm glad to see them all again very soon. Go on! Speisekarte ansehen

Went with 3 other friends for a double birthday celebration and can 't WAIT to go back again! We all had different meals and all four were excellent!! At first, when you start to taste your food, you think Ooo, this is spicy, right on the limit , but after a while, you realise that once you swallow, the heat becomes less and the full flavours of your food just explode.....Honestly!! All four of us have eaten out many times, but this place is the best by a country mile!! OK, the décor might need updating slightly, but the prices are reasonable, the staff are knowledgeable and attentive, and the food is out of this world. You will not be disappointed........

I and my partner have always been great fan of Thai cuisine and used to, at several different Thai restaurants around burton, until this was opened. we thought we'd try them out there at the opening weekend and we haven't seen them back since! we were thrilled by each part of our experience in t favoritehai and we would not go to another thai in the opposite. eating is perfect and much more authentic than the other thais in the opposite. the staff are also some of the kindest around and nothing is ever for them. the administration are on the way to hand and provide the personal service we all love! we were here last Saturday night. it was really busy in restaurant and did not expect a good service here, but it is 5 stars. there are only 3 people running on the floor to serve the customers and very impressive. the food was very delicious and fresh. the part was very large in comparison to restaurant in the opposite. singha bier is best combination with Thai food. the atmosphere was fantastic, the Thai music was not too loud. we sat at the window and completely away from other people. As our previous favourite Thai restaurant in Derby had closed we had tried a couple of others in Derby but were not impressed enough to return. As our first ever Thai Food was in Burton on Trent 40 years ago I did a Google search for the area and found two, one was closed for a holiday so as we knew the Town Center we tried the Favourite Thai. I have been unsure whether to post this review because it was a personal experience and not the quality of the food as such. We were a large table of 14 adults and had chosen our starters and mains. I chose the the tofu starter followed by a mock duck dish. Starter was lovely and tasty. When the mains came out I was given my dish with the server telling me it was mock duck. Everyone else was receiving their meals and we all started eating.
