A fantastic restaurant in a tiny street that will make you feel instantly in peace and holidays. The service was impeccable (worthy of 4 stars places), the food was delicious (we have many local specialties, including the famous and tasty Capocollo by Martina Franca) and the prices were very reasonable for quality. The desert was quite original and fresh.

We loved this place so much we went back twice a week. The food is exceptional Italian, but with a creative twist that is well valued and never too experimental. We had amazing 30 hours of ragu and liver as well as various pasta dishes all equally wonderful. We also discovered a wonderful local wine Firr, which was delicious. We sat outside in the beautiful backstreets of Martina both times for lunch with our young children and we were all made to feel so welcome. You have a high chair and baby change make everything super easy. We've been coming to this area for a few years and eating a lot and Gaonas has gone to the top of our list. We can't wait back!

Wow! What a place!!! We’ve been coming to Puglia and especially Martina Franca region for eight years now and this place is the best discovery so far. The dishes are exquisite and executed to perfection. The food is refined with a strong nod to the traditional Apulian ingredients and dishes. Their veal liver is the best I’ve ever had…I normally love it pink and when this one arrived, cooked through, I was a little concerned but when I tasted it, it was amazing…served with an apple ‘sauce’ it was more reminiscent of foie gras (guilt free) and tasted amazing.
