"Inside the restaurant was nicely decorated and the staff were friendly. We all enjoyed our desserts, but the food had several issues: I did not like the cod loin which was served as fish and chips. It had a very unpleasant texture and I could not eat half of it. When I was ordering the dish I was warned that this is not a regular fish and chips but a fine seafood dish, but I had expected it to at least include chips as the name suggests, which turned out not to be included and I had to order that separately. Burgers (beef and vegan) were okay but a bit expensive for the quality. They brought to our table a bottle of wine which was already opened. The waiter did not open the bottle in front of us, did not offer a taste, and did not pour the wine. There was another minor mistake with the food order which they fortunately fixed quickly. So, overall, we feel we have been overcharged for an average quality food and service."

"Positives: The staff here are absolutely amazing and funny, nothing is too much to ask for, extremely helpful. Negatives: not a lot of choice if you like wine, either Chardonnay or Prosecco that’s it. The poor guys ran out of a lot of food...options, waiting for a delivery from the brewery, they’d ran out of rice, you’d think they’d be allowed to go to CostCutters and buy a bag! The food wasn’t great, very basic, but you get what you pay for (couldn’t get in anywhere else as fully booked). Place is grubby, needs a really good overhaul. We couldn’t wait to leave, but as I said the staff were superb, doing the best with what they have. A shame the brewery don’t invest some more money as it could be lovely with some TLC"

"Lovely restaurant in the heart of Aberaeron, next to the harbour. Was desperate for lunch so came to the first place I found after a hike. Table available which was nice as it was a busy lunch hour. Waiters and waitresses all dress up quite nice, tables service. I felt a little underdressed perhaps, I didn't really know the expectation until I walked in. I'd been hiking along the coastal path all morning so my hair was blown, I had ripped jeans and trainers. It's not a dressy restaurant, perhaps a nicer top and smarter shoes would've been better. Looks like it's a popular restaurant for groups, brunches etc. Very nice food, had a chicken burger and chips, can't fault it."

"We were on holiday in Llanon and the cottage we stayed in had a power cut which meant that I couldn’t wash my hair or have a coffee- it had been a difficult morning. We went into this hotel desperate for a coffee and we...were treated with hostility. We stood in the doorway surrounded by demanding notices of what you couldn’t do due to Covid and we were ignored by the staff. Eventually a female member of staff glanced up shouted across- we’re Not doing food. My husband said it wasn’t a problem as we only wanted coffee. I then asked for a decaf skinny latte and was told aggressively by (I think the manager) we don’t do skinny to which I said that was fine (being made to feel like a nuisance). After several minutes he then shouted across at us we haven’t got decaf. At which point we thanked him said we’d leave it. I left there in tears. He made an already frustrating day ten times worse, made us feel very unwelcome and a nuisance and coloured the start of the holiday for me. Thanks a lot we won’t ever go back there certainly will never recommend it. Not that they will probably care. If you don’t like English tourists then maybe you should re-think your career choice."

"We frequent this restaurant often! The coffee is consistently excellent, the cakes are incredibly delicious, and the food is always top-notch and flavorful. The wine selection is unmatched for miles around. The owners and staff are all highly knowledgeable about their products and wholeheartedly support local producers. I cannot recommend Naturally Scrumptious enough - we absolutely love it!"
