Holiday Inn Ashford Central

The venue for our wedding and so happy we chose them. The rooms were excellent, the food and drink superb and the staff were absolutely brilliant. Thank you for helping us create the most fun-filled, beautiful and amazing day.

A cosy and spacious pet friendly hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The only thing I found irritating is, although the walls are perfectly soundproof, the doors aren't. Overall, we had a good time, just sleeping overnight is a challenge.

Lovely hotel. Friendly staff and great service. The beds are comfy and the rooms surprisingly large and airy. Although the hotel is near a road, the rooms were very quiet. We ate dinner in the restaurant and had breakfast, both of which were lovely. Speisekarte ansehen

Well located hotel in the leafy Ashford countryside. The front desk was very friendly, the rooms are functional. Free parking directly at the hotel. The cleaning staff does an excellent job and is without exception very friendly. We'd love to come back!

Very easy check in. Helpful staff. Room was nice and clean and roomy. Only problem was I checked my car in for my 4 night stay. But then I received two letters for fines for staying over the stated times. Matter was put right after two phone calls for each time.

During our stay, my grandson was feeling unwell throughout the night. The night staff were incredibly helpful; they quickly changed our room to make sure everything could be cleaned. Their support was above and beyond what we expected. I urge higher management to recognize these fantastic employees. It’s the staff who truly uphold the restaurant's good reputation. We received a very warm welcome from Jacob at the reception upon our arrival. He immediately recognized our membership status and was not only engaging but also informative and kind. The hotel is conveniently located for the shuttle to and from France, and it provided everything we needed in a comfortable room, including good food and an excellent breakfast. The staff were outstanding throughout our stay. This will likely become our preferred hotel for our European adventures.

This is a lovely hotel with free parking. The rooms are decent, although they lack fridges, which might only be available in premium options. I found the rooms a bit dated, especially since there are no plug sockets near the bedside, but they were clean and welcoming. The bar was quiet but seemed understaffed; I had to wait 20 minutes before I was served. Breakfast was enjoyable, although the restaurant's layout felt somewhat odd, as if it were an afterthought. I have no complaints about the staff—they were all very friendly, helpful, and informative. I would definitely consider visiting again if I'm in the area.

An excellent team providing good service are badly let down by the condition of the public areas in this hotel. Damaged paintwork and walls, worn out carpet and horribly overgrown gardens negate the quality of service provided. I congratulate the check in staff who took the care to find an alternative room for my elderly mother much nearer the entrance and dining areas. The rooms have been refreshed in the last few years, but it is clear that simple faults are not reported by cleaning staff, or are not put right by the maintenance team. The management of the hotel need to pay much more attention to the maintenance of the whole site. Speisekarte ansehen
