"here recently visited with man and son as not here for a good time, but had very good comments about food and also the new managers who took over last year. Can't praise her enough. Very warm, friendly and cozy. Overallambience was good, thought some background music in the bar would be nice, but was pleased that at least there were background music in the actual restaurant. Some candles/lights on tables would have finished the ambience we thought. Food was excellent. All three of us had different dishes, all served cakes hot through a nice friendly waitress. We will definitely be back soon as we live on site and have already recommended friends. It offers warmer weather to use the beautiful garden. Well done to the new team there!"

Just driving in the area looked for food around atherstone and this place came up, we stopped asked they accomodated four all 4 and was an amazing and wonderful dinner Brill.

Hello, I was there for Sunday Lunch last Sunday. One family were just leaving told us not to eat here. I had a table for 8 people everyone was very happy. Food was excellent. Some people are just a disgrace. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Lovely staff. Decent pub grub. We live quite local and can’t believe we haven’t been here before. Really nice interior of pub too so feels comfortable and a lovely dining room. Thank you ladies. as the rudest manager there could possibly be taking pride in being an absolute bellend to your customers with absolutely appalling. I went to this restaurant on Saturday with my family for Sunday dinner and it was a disaster. The food was overcooked and tasted like a frozen meal reheated in the microwave. The service was awful, and I would highly recommend avoiding this place at all costs. The management was also very rude. The price per person was £10–20. Food quality, service, and atmosphere all received a rating of 1 out of 5.

Amazing food and atmosphere. We've come here for a few months and we've never been disappointed. If you want fine food and home cooked food, then this is the place. The owners and employees are so beautiful and friendly and cannot do enough for you. Both the menu and Sunday Carvery are amazing. You must have the great hospitality, kindness and welcome that this place has. Not many have more, but this pub does. I highly recommend it.
