Not perhaps the most atmospheric of restaurants but decent service and good reliable food. I do wonder though who writes all these single review five star marks? Have they never been anywhere else? Intriguing Speisekarte ansehen

Definitely worth a visit The food is outstanding Staff very pleasant Definitely ideal if you are visiting the hare and hounds across the road for a live music gig As the service is very quick Absolutely delicious food !

I stopped by this restaurant before a concert nearby and it was a great choice! The service was quick and friendly, the food was delicious (I had the "Railway" chicken curry which was excellent). Even though I'm not from the area, I will definitely come back when I'm in the area again.

Visited here on a quiet Wednesday evening. Not been here for at least 2 years and the food has improved dramatically. Poppadoms with lovely dips, Sheesh nargis kebab starters, Dhaba Chicken, Tarka Dhal Coriander Naan, all very good. Service was friendly bill very reasonable. BYO made it even more affordable. Although the exterior of the restaurant may appear plain, the food is absolutely delightful and some of the best I have had in Birmingham. I particularly enjoyed their two-dish option. The service was friendly and efficient, making for an excellent evening. It was heartwarming to see families enjoying their meal together at the restaurant.

I went there on a Sunday evening with a couple of friends. The staff were all very friendly and the food was delicious. The place seemed clean. No complaints! For the record, I had a paneer tikka masala with garlic/coriander naan for main and banana fritters with strawberry ice cream for dessert. The tikka masala had the perfect level of spiciness for me (I'm sensitive to spice! and the strawberry ice cream was especially tasty.

To start with, the food was cold. The tandoori mix was clearly not cooked in a tandoori oven, the chicken leg had very little meat, and the other meats were bland and chewy. The pickles were watered down to the point of being almost colorless. The Dahl was flavorless, thin, and also cold. I would not recommend ordering from Kings. I spent over £50 and feel like I was robbed, not just because of the cost but because the food was inedible. My final advice is to go somewhere else to avoid possibly having the worst curry experience in Kings Heath. Speisekarte ansehen
