we had a wonderful plateau fruits de mer. very fresh seafood and a gentle waiter who served us. an evening to remember

of us ate here and this was one of the only restaurants/establishments that welcomed us. The kids had a good selection of meals and the fixed menus were good. For we had a nice meal. Would recommend.

Tried this place following family recommendation and absolutely loved it! Great mussels, very tasty especially the Alsacienne. Home-made fries were delicious. Will definitely recommend La Mouette to my friends and family.

A group of us came upon La Mouette and we confirm that this is its name on the main road down to ten sea front in fort Mahon Plage, near to Berck and Le Touquet. The lunch we were served was quite amazing, with...fresh local oysters to start, followed by a range of meats and fish dishes: the fish of the day was a fabulous seafood stew, and the meat of the day a veal cutlet in a rich sauce. The service was quick and efficient and friendly, and the restaurant is conventional/traditional with a lovely atmosphere. We will be back for dinner next year. Speisekarte ansehen

Our visit to this restaurant was spoiled by a hostile and inattentive waitress and by indifferent service generally. We were left for ages with a bottle of water and had to wait too long before, having asked for it twice, a pichet of (acidic and...mouth-twisting) red wine was brought. The food was mixed, a ficelle picarde was cooked in a good bubbling sauce but needed more flavour from cheese on the top. Salt had to be liberally applied. The moules frites were ok. The isles flottantes were very disappointing, straight from a packet. A rectangular block resembling styrofoam was bobbing on a sickly custard. At the end, having left an undeserved tip, we were still regarded with frosty disdain....

We are not big eaters and so shared the menu...and the Picardy String appetizer. We started with the rich and delicious Coquille St Jacques, followed by the Entrecote (steak). The steak (like a rib eye) was very tasty but had a lot of fat/grizzle. . . so not really a choice cut. The Picardy String. . . a popular regional dish of a crepe filled with a rich cream sauce with ham and cheese. . . was probably correctly done, just too rich for our palates.
