Lunch at Le Bistrot Itsaski today was incredible. The view of the river was beautiful and the service, food and wine was superb. Well done!

as you can see the risotto gambas chipirons is just a pure visual and gustative service to the top, very good advice on wines by staff an address that I highly recommend to all people wishing to taste local and/or refined dishes

A great lunch on the banks of the river Neve. As a gluten free vegetarian I have just had one of the best best meals in France . Truly delicious. My husband eats everything and had a fabulous meal of local specialities . The staff were helpful and friendly. A great start to our sightseeing afternoon in Bayonne. Just perfect.

We enjoyed lunch at Le Bistro Itsaski. We dined outside, enjoying the views of Petit Bayonne across the river. This bistrot is centrally located, an easy walk from Grand or Petit Bayonne. We enjoyed delightful salads for our mid day meal. Menus offers pintos (tapas) as well. Wait staff is knowledgeable, offering advice on wine pairings. We will return.

First dinner on bayonne, what to say?We loved this place. not only is the staff pleasant, smiling and with little care. but also the dishes: the rednet net for me and the gambas risotto for mr were exceptionally good. mention for the risotto that the darling has ADORE. With regard to the price, we are above the average (about 20 euros for the dish) but the quality is at the rendezvous. We had a great time. and I strongly recommend this restaurant.

the service has bluffed us: it represents all that we expect from a restaurant but that we have so little often: the water carafe is brought to the table at the same time as the menu, bread and brought after the order while waiting for the entrance, the dishes are served quickly despite a full restaurant, and all the servers are smiling, attentive and good advice. Then the food: the products are of very good quality, well seasoned and in quantity. I especially recommend the old and burrata tomatoes and chocolate melting. a great address not to miss!!

My husband and I wanted to have a drink and eat something. We tried to seat in this place, almost empty (just 2 tables with customers in), when three men come and scream that we have to eat something. We tell them ok, but we need to drink something first and check the menu. They won´t let us sit and repeat ad nauseam that we hace to eat something (our firt and foremost intention). Obviously we get out of there in bit of a shock, hungry and thirsty. Seriously, don´t waste your time. These kind of place is overpriced ans underserved and Bayonne is plenty of places to eat.

Visiting Bayonne on a Monday evening at the end of March could have been difficult as lots of restaurants were closed! However we were not disappointed with Bistrot Itsaski. On walking in the buzzing atmosphere and attentive staff ensured a very warm welcome. We went straight to mains enticed by the entrecôte and were delighted. Perfectly cooked and enjoyed with a delicious bottle of red from the excellent wine list. Although replete we could not resist can we ever? the chocolate fondant and have to say it was superb and rates as one of the best ever fabulously gooey centre, rich, dark and yet light all in all a perfect meal and a bistro we would highly recommend and visit again.
