I went there with a very good friend. The conversation was very pleasant and surprisingly fluid even though we hadn't seen each other for a long time. The only downside was that it was raining that day and I hadn't slept very well the day before. But hey… everything couldn’t be perfect!

I was staying locally and travelling on my own, so popped in here for a late night dinner after a very long day travelling, I was exhausted and very hungry! The restaurant was busy but they were not at all snotty about giving me a table for one (I find some restaurants are). Service was really friendly and they were very tolerant of my extremely basic French. The menu is fairly short and basic, classic French. I had steak and frites with a blue cheese sauce which was excellent, and the house red wine, which was also really good. It was very relaxed and exactly what I was looking for - would definitely recommend Speisekarte ansehen
