"Although it is a tiny village, you have choices of restaurants. After reading the reviews of Tripadvisor, de decided to get this a try. L 'Ecurie restaurant lies on the busiest street, but you will not have the disturbance of noise from the outside. The entrance...through a courtyard is lovely. The tables are available for people who prefer setting outside. We were early, just when they 're open at 6:00 pm. I heard you need a reservation in the evening but for sure to get a table we came early. There were many choices on the menu; also, they have a suggestion board menu. You will be overwhelmed by choices. But we opted for the real Alsace food. the royal sauerkraut with seven different flavored meat a plate for two-person for 48 euro. The food came on a big plate, but they divide the plate into two. Tasty meat, the sauerkraut is for me less."

After eating on the terrace in August, we were welcomed inside. Original and comfortable place where the wood is very present. Friendly staff, excellent green sauerkraut and dessert a brown torch that I discovered. I'll be right back. Speisekarte ansehen

"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg. The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved. We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."
