This was our fourth visit and, as usual, the food was fantastic. The service was excellent, attentive, but not intrusive. We're coming back!

Taste, colour, freshness, a real pleasure for taste buds and a very warm welcome, all in a very nice little village that I particularly love.

This restaurant is located in an outside French village east of Confolens. Delicious food, excellent service, beautiful ambience. It is definitely worth looking for it. Best a reservation!

A great restaurant with local dishes! An excellent French cuisine with fresh and seasonal products all homemade. Congratulations to the chief! The server is very kind. A good time, thank you.

I met some friends from NZ here, who didn't speak French and while the wait staff did speak English, they didn't go out of their way to help understanding the menu or ordering. They let their guests flounder around and may the visit less than...perfect. The food was good and it's in a pretty village. But they could have done better.

We visited here for dinner during the Esse Festival. Amazingly, chef catered for nearly 100 people at once. Food was absolutely delicious. Service was superb but we kept losing the waiters who went to dance to the amazing band Cargo!! Ha ha. A great atmosphere...and although the staff were really busy, it was all done with a big smile. Such a fun evening!! One of our favourite restaurants when we go to our holiday home nearby. Bravo to all. Such an amazing night!!

If you stay or live in the Confolens region, you must take the time to taste a meal to be served. Chef, chef, chef, second, waiters, staff is warm and offers quality dishes, carefully cooked and a real know-how. The first time I figured I'd come back as soon as possible. That's what I did for. My marriage. My guests have all been seduced. welcome to dessert with a punch and delicious dishes, I am totally satisfied with this choice. thanks to this team has helped to make this day a great memory. I highly recommend.

After two weeks in the charente without French restaurant (all was closed for the season) we came over this restaurant while we visited the pretty village of Esse. Only from looking at the building was clear that this was a successful... consciousness and we booked this day in the row. Our broken French had no problem because the staff quickly ensured that we had an English menu and English speakers served us while we were able to practice the language. The food was exceptional and cheap. We had Steak and Dessert. It was the best meal we ever had in France. Unfortunately we came to the end of our holiday or we would eat there regularly. They even open on a Sunday! Tres bee to all. Very recom...
