"made in belfast selected in belfast was always one of our favorite cathedrale bulls with its relaxed mood, quirky shabby chic interiors and bistro style menus, the local, sustainable products, so we were looking forward to a long overdue visit to try some of the new dishes. the round elderflower cocktail special was delightful tropical with fruity hints of pineapple and limette. at the beginning we were fascinated by the vegan tofu scallops with kimchi pickled cucumber, and we were not disappointed; an excellent herbal option filled with taste and chili heats. our main courses included a smoky, perfectly fluffy poached cod with fondant kartoffeln and crispy egg, and a curried cauliflower steak with rusty and the most amazing “dirty rice” we ever ate. unfortunately we had to go, but we were not allowed to go without a few takeaway desserts; a zitrussy ananas, lime coconut and feta cheesecake, and sweet yorkshire pudding profiteroles with meerrettich, hazelnuts and salted caramel! cordial thanks to emma for inviting to try the fantastic new menu, and tom and lucy for the warm welcome at such a stormy evening."

happy with eating, it could be perfect with fresh beer from the hahn, but the doses are not bad at all.

the service. eating was great, but the service ruined the evening. Smiling and courtesy are better than pouts and eyerolls that we get all night from a certain waiter. I'm not back.

probably the best vegan curry that I had worldwide! friendly atmosphere and great know personal, although there is a list where your meat comes to the wall. the sweet are all of local farmers who are ingenious.

the food was delicious from beginning to end. service was excellent, efficient and friendly. the only negatiw was that the tables are too close to each other, so that the conversation with the neighbours could be overheared, perhaps if they could solve this problem instead of the table in rows. but I will be back! made in belfast is a sweet and cozy restaurant in the heart of belfast. they serve meat, but have great vegan options! I ordered the mushroom risotto and it was very good. I have also disguised the vegan chocolate and celestial who was delicious when they like dark chocolate. the only night was that a waiter was quite rude when we paid separately - what our waiter said we could do it.

our family enjoyed our dinner here. charming, busy, trendy restaurant. they have a veg kinder meal, mushroom risotto, which was nice to see and what my child enjoyed. we had the suppe of the day that I am told is always vegan. for entree there is a selection of the mushroom risotto or a flower flower-flower-catsu curry. both were quite delicious and dessert they serve a vegan chocolate dish with ice. This restaurant is great if they have both veg and non veg in their group and also great for families. it felt pretty decadent. a bit heavy on sodium and sugar and large portions. Nobody forced us to eat everything.

"enjoyed our evening in james st it was the best culinary experience of our trip! we had been happy to see this evening as we had a few hit-N-seals in the course of our trip to belfast. we were not disappointed and had the fabulous evening. we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the place is beautiful and spacious. revitalized and environment. the bar is great and would like to come back, only for drinks at the bar sometime. we ordered cocktails immediately. an Irish gin negroni and a traditional old fashion. my neger was absolutely excellent. I think the old fashion could have been done with real sugar cubes and not sugar syrup, but it wasn't too bad. we were quick to choose our wein. we chose a beautiful juicy red, the cline, the old vine zinfandel, 2019. to begin we had the ham hock terrine with piccalilli champ bread and some scallops with boar bell. the hanging-hock court was the best ham-hock I had. the homemade piccalilli was something else. really nice crispy and sharp sharp to help cut through the hammock and the champbrot was delicious crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. the scallops and black bells were disappointing, as they lacked no salt or genuine aroma or texture between them. we still ate it and shared the rest of my hammock. we both decided to go for the co. tyrone 270g fillet steak with sides of champ and truffle parmesan chips. red wine and pfeffer sauce. they were fantastic steaks. Actually, I didn't think I would finish mine, but I did. I have met the right choice with the jus and the truffle chips. they went so well together, the dryness of the parmesan and sweet, slightly greasy of the jus. the steaks were perfectly cooked. a medium and my medium rare. fantastic aroma on the grilled outside of the steak and beautiful texture when they pierce. we both agreed that the champ was the best champ we ever cost. it was hot, soft, so well aromatized with hot butter on the top of the copper serving pot melt. it was really the most incredible champ. I was too full of dessert. but my sample ordered the sticky toffee pudding sundae. the team was friendly enough to make me an espresso martini that was both decaf and not a sugar syrup. it was brilliant. we both managed to work our way, although a surprisingly light sticky toast desserts on Sunday. the team was fantastic. very friendly and chatting to us. the bar team did not stop, I had the pleasure of standing and watching them make a great selection of drinks and cocktails. the waiting staff were also very friendly when they check in with us at comfortable places to ensure that we were in order. we felt very well looked around. the service was very good, we didn't feel any hurry, it felt like such a free time in this restaurant. when we come back to belfast, we will be back in absolute terms and we will definitely recommend others. Thank you."
