Would not recommend. Staff are clueless, video of my family was uploaded on social media channels without any permission. Food was cold, hair in my curry and could go on.

Beautiful restaurant, stunning decor, food was just perfect, I couldn't fault it. Service was good waiter made some mistakes but rectified quickly. Would definitely reccomend to family and friends.

I ordered halwa puri for click n collect and when i came home it was nothing like halwa puri instead chana curry they gave me chaat and puri was like ready made paratha and halwa was the worst disguisting ,guys if u are an authentic food lover rather go to birmingham than wasting money here

Go here regularly for both dine in and take out food which has always been 1st class and very reasonable prices. They have recently been taken over so introduced quite a few more items which are superb on their Indian menu. Also they have burgers and steaks should any of your group not enjoy Indian food. They now also open for breakfast and lunch. Well worth a visit and being non-licensed you can bring your own drinks. If you are tech savvy, they have an easy to use app. Best of all they offer a discount after using the app just four times which is 20% off your bill. Speisekarte ansehen

I was invited for a birthday meal with family and friends at Maliks, the food was amazing and staff where very helpful, we throughly enjoyed the mocktails to the reason for my two stars is because of a staff member arguing with waiters right in front of our table. It set a tone and made us feel extremely uncomfortable and on edge. he was shouting loudly and i noticed other tables turning around to see what the fuss was about. Other than this hiccup the whole evening was great once we had relaxed again im hoping this was a one off because I would love to come and visit again the food was very nice

Visited again as we ofter do on a Friday or Saturday night and the food was fantastic as always, the service was good but was let down by 1 particular waitress who was the least attentive person I have ever encountered in the 7 years of visiting. She was either sat down or on her phone and I had to wait for 1 on the other hard working staff to attend to us, at one point she was eating a plate of food another customer had left and we then had to endure 10 minutes of her picking her teeth either a toothpick in full view of the whole restaurant. A very poor advert for an otherwise much improving venue.

We were all a little sceptical about choosing this month's venue for our monthly dining trip, but have to say we were not disappointed. Hospitality was very good, they were accommodating when we asked to switch from a booth table to a more open table. Each course was enjoyable, and just enough time between courses. They catered for the odd amendments to the mains, and served us up some good flavoursome dishes. Would recommend again and again. After working in Lye for over 35 years and seeing the demise of so many good Indian restaurants, Malik's has certainly made me want to go back for more. Well done guys. Speisekarte ansehen
